jelly and asvi: order those games online. i work at circuit city and TRUST ME, the chances of finding those are slim to none. we get like 2 in a shipment a month and theyre sold before we put them out. the wii fit especially, youre 99% NOT gunna find it. so just check if websites have them available, and order them that way. because at that point you already paid and youre sort of priority when they do come in.

keep calling target, too. call them on a sat. night because sometimes they hold onto to stock on the wii items and put them out on sundays because they advertise them in the circular. we got our wii by waiting outside target on a sunday morning and running into the store. (we actually went the night before to map out the best route to the electronics dept, because we're dorks)

heba: are you talking about pre-ordering? I asked a few of the stores about that and they said they used to do it but then nintendo told them not to. i guess pre-ordering online would be different?

1. i'm feeling emo.

2. one of my projects fell through recently. and apart from feeling like the biggest failure at life, i also have to scramble to put together a new proposal for what i'll be doing instead. which i need to do asap cause it also means a cut in funding till it's finalized. yikes.

3. i miss my baba. a lot.

4. a cousin has finally decided to put an end to a hellishly stifling and violent marriage after 5 years of being together. with two kids. no job. no support. and all the extended family has to say is, 'it's a shame..' (effing jerks).

5. i officially have a stomach. and lack the motivation to work it off.

6. uncertainty is frightening.

7. my mom called me this morning to give me one of her classic demoralizing lectures on life. and i want to crawl back under the covers now instead of work.

8. ghosts of the past will always resurface at the most inconvenient times.

I just took a shower and I feel worse than before . I haven't been able to get any zyrtec or other allergy meds yet and now hubby isn't coming til tomorrow so I have to wait until then. I think I'm just going to take some ibuprofen and sleep for an hour...inshallah that'll help and hopefully I'll feel better for jumu'ah prayer too. i dont like being alone when im feeling icky, i want my mama

yea, we just went through that (for mario kart) this past weekend, we looked EVERYWHERE. finally after calling around, we found a random target that got a shipment. but if you hear they have it, be prepared to drop everything and go. I waited a few hours before going to the store and just barely managed to get the last copy of the shipment. the game is definitely worth it though.
