I have a feeling that kaddoo is used sometimes to refer to the variety of vegetables in the family of squashes but I have always heard it used to refer to pumpkins

salika: i love how so many words are the same or similar in farsi, urdu, arabic and even turkish!

comportment: they have awesome sales, i looooove B&B Works...if only victoria's secret semiannual sales were as good (they are run by the same company as are the limited and limited too and one other store i cant remember so i wonder why the VS sales aren't as good ).

anyway i just ate waaaayy too much food and i feel seriously sick

Kaddoo may be used for pumpkin, but in the every day desi cooking, its either kaddoo or loki for squash

Alright so I have a question. My first wedding anniversary is coming up on July 1 inshallah. I need some realistic, affordable and nice ideas. Here are a few I've (probably) crossed off the list already for various reasons:

1. Mini vacation - sneaky guy snooped, found out what I was up to and burst that bubble ($-related)
2. A watch - the one he liked is tooo expensive
3. Season pass to Fighting Illini basketball games - season is past and if I get it for him he might not even be here in the US when the next season comes around
4. GPS system - his N95 phone already has GPS on it but he never uses it. Plus we dont have a car anyway.

Possibilities:

1. Wii Fit - might need other games to go along with it and my apartment on campus doesnt have a proper tv to play it anyway and he cant use it overseas b/c the outlets are different (cant use a converter, it destroyed the first Wii plug). We might get a bigger tv for the new apartment though when i move in august...
2. A bicycle - he always mentions getting himself one that is like the kind the pros ride, the really lightweight ones but will he ride it? He's more of a walking person not a bike person...though he could start because he wants an easy way to exercise and bike-riding is excellent.

Anything else?

It's called Gordman's. They have a lot of brand name things for way less...kind of like TJMaxx except better (in my opinion).
