lol_lol: Everything okay? May Allah shower His mercy on you and ease whatever you may be going through. ameen
zakk: Thats really nice. Im sure mother-daughter things with no one else are good.
caramel_candy: Thats nice, early gifts are awesome How old will you be?
And thoughts on the hijab issue.
I cant post anything coherrent right now, but whatever whoever does is their business and Allahs- thats not to say that we shouldnt bother or stop caring for our loved ones. but ultimately everyone has a choice to make. No one should be judged. And we should keep in mind that we dont know whats in store for us, we're not even sure about our own imans. We need to worry about ourselves before we criticize or judge others.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
-sometimes the people from your past that you think were gone forever, return again and again. and you dont know what to do.
-i need to work out.
-i need to stop eating junk. and baking junk to stuff my face with in the first place.
-some people annoy me too much and their endless banter about their lovestruck lives. i know ur in love and im excited that your marriage to be is finally working out but please spare me from the mushy details about how much you love your person and how many kids you two are going to have...especailly cuz ur the guy in the relationship.
-someone told me today that i shoulda been a english major cuz i helped them out with their essay, and though the thought has gone through my mind way before i chose my major and i supressed it because i thought it wasnt good enough, i got into thinking mode today wondering if i really should have done that considering how much i love to read adn write and my ideal exam would be one where you give me an essay to write rather than multiple choice questions cause i can totally BS my way through it all. but im too far into my major to change it. plus, i DO love psychology.
-which reminds me....i love too many things. i want to do too many things. sometimes i have a hard time deciding what to do with my life because i wanna do so much. if i was only 5 people instead of one, i'd do it all.
-people suck sometimes. esp when they get ur hopes up high, and then ignore u again for a few days. they may be confused, but it hurts you the most cuz u sit there figuring out what the heck just happaned.
*whew* that felt good to get some stuff off my chest here. LONG rant. sorry ladies!

At 7:45am on Monday, June 9th, Safiyah Maryam made her entrance into this world. Am still slightly dazed and exhausted but, alhamdulillah, mashallah, she's a perfectly beautiful little specimen of babyhood.
Jazakallah to everyone who made dua

Once again...I am not going to keep explaining myself. Kindly learn to read coherently. Maybe one day when your close friend/relative is pulling off their hijab after you two struggled with it together, you will understand. Stop criticizing. I said I was hurt and felt weird for feeling that way because it's her struggle and her life but at the end she is my sister, we are extremely close and have been since she was born and we went through hijab together, then she just "fell of the cart." Everyone has different reactions, stop preaching about not being critical because you yourself are being critical of others' feelings on their own PERSONAL ISSUES.

jelly, i don't think she meant it has a personal attack against you... everyone else was weighing in on the situation and she put her thoughts out as well.

Mashallah congratulations! May Allah(swt) bless her and allow her to lead a long, healthy, and happy life that is pleasing to Him. ameen!
on an unrelated note...alhamdulillah. i was kicking myself for procrastinating again and waiting til the last second to turn in my notice to vacate for my apartment. but its a good thing i did because the place i was going to move into this fall is no longer available and i'd have been screwed over and homeless! (ok not really, but still! haha) alhamdulillah, at least now i can stay where i am...even though it still kind of sucks cuz i was looking forward to the new place (and the anticipated decrease in rent that i took into account when deciding to get my car ...oh well)
