My younger sister was like that. She would say stuff like "who cares I'm only the sister" and it really hurt me. She would hardly show any happiness and sometimes even make things difficult. She's a few years younger than me going through self esteem issues and kind of feels like she wants to marry (she's 16). I've told her several times it hurt and she would just be shrug it off and not care.
The other day she said something AGAIN like to me and I got pretty upset (she's had this attitude since I got engaged a few months ago). Her excuse was she didn't want to get in the way of my spotlight (because I asked her to dance with me at an upcoming gathering we're having with the in-laws and she didn't want to). I told her that I needed her and finally was just like "is that how you're going to treat me when you get married? like 'just the sister?' Are you going to see me as insignificant and in your way?" She finally got the hint and apologized.
I guess it depends on why she's acting that way. How old is she? Does she feel left out? How does she view marriage generally? What's her relationship with the fiance? Good luck to you, I know how frustrating it can be.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I got everything sorted out for my new car. Yay! It's awesome, mashallah. I just have to finalize some paperwork once I move and it'll be mine, all mine, muahahahahahaha!
And after a long day trudging all over the city, I found an apartment, so I won't have to live in the car. We went to one place, the neighborhood was crappy; went to another place, neighborhood was better, apartment was crappy; went to two places where no one showed up for the viewings (which were scheduled waaaay ahead of time ); then finally, the last place was just right - decent apartment, nice neighborhood, convenient to work, affordable, and most importantly, it had a parking space (in the middle of the city, no less ). Whew.
Alhamdulillah that everything worked out. And for my lovely parents, who paid out all the deposits, so that it's actually all affordable for me.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I am SO freakin pissed right now. I was up until 4am stressing over this meeting I was supposed to have today. I should have known it wouldn't happen though. Yesterday, one girl said she couldn't make it. Then, my friend said he forgot but would still come. I wake up at 8:30, wash my hair and call him at 9:30. He said he wasn't coming and don't ask why. Then, my other friend calls and said she couldnt get this information off the computer because the printer is not hooked up. She said her crew might not be there because they got home late last night. So, there would have been like 4 people there- me, my 2 sisters and their friend. I decided to cancel it because gas costs too much for me to drive there for that. I emailed everyone, but I am so mad. I knew I would be cranky, but I think I am kinda hurt. That's just why I never got involved in stuff.

I've done so much to my hair..its been dyed, highlighted and chemically straightened. but its been almost 2 yrs since i've colored it and sometimes i want to color it again and sometimes i want to leave it as is. Can't decide.
I'm sooo tired and it sucks.
Has anyone been to a baseball game before?? How's it like?

Ya, I've dyed it like 5 times in the past 8 months My husband liked it blonde better so now I'm just gonna keep it that way but probably in a year or two I'm gonna leave it alone, at least give it a break.
My tummy doesn't hurt anymore
Alhamdulillah.

It was an inside joke - don't worry, he put the real one in the package too, so when she opened it, both came out.
