We're hoping so too, my dad is trying hard to keep up, though we can tell he's having a hard time dealing with it. My dads family didnt have much and my dad grew up pretty poor, and now that Allah has given us so much, my fathers spoiled his own father for the sake of when they had nothing, and he's mightly proud of it . They have such a sweet relationship. My grandfather has not a worry in the world, alhamdulilah, so far his life has been good.

Anyway, this is breaking my heart, no more details!

I think long hair is awesome. In my opinion though hair below the hips/waist area is weird, gross and unnatural looking (most people cannot grow it that long anyway without it breaking and/or thinning on the ends).

This kind of hair is awesome. My hair's not thick enough to ever look like that no matter how much I care for it.


I once went to a wedding where the bride's sister and 2 friends had hair like this, one of them had slightly curly on the ends. I wanted to take it from her when she wasn't looking and attach it to my own head.. .mashallah it was soooo beautiful . I have a friend who had hair like this but she recently chopped it off to mid-back length

lol i used to have hair that long but it wasnt as pretty as that cuz my hair is thick and curly. so if i didnt straighten it out (which is a mad headache because it was truly impossible to straighten without going crazy) it looked horrible because it was so long. also, and i also, i had it because my parents woudlnt let me chop it off. especailly my dad .but by the time i got to 18-19, i asked my sister (who does hair REALLY good and is good with cutting it too) to chop off half of it....the relief was sooo amazing haha. i got into buttloads of toruble though! now the longest i let it grow to is the start of my waist. BUT ive never had shorter than mid back.


which reminds me, i need to start taking care of my hair...its starting to feel and look so dry. any suggestions ladies?

i miss my sisters, but the little snots come home tomorrow. I guess I like my new job, its different. My dad thinks I am dating my bgf and my bgf won't hang out with me because of it. (gosh, you go out for coffee one night and things get complicated) I snapped at my 6 year old cousin and he thinks I am mean now. but after I had a nice cry and nap, I feel so much better.
