So I hear a lot of funny last names at work, and this got a chuckle outta me, it was a desi girl and her last name was 'icecreamwala' ... haha..im curious about the origin of that name

afifa: hang in there babe. take a break from life and just go out somewhere away from those feelings. dont dissociate urself from society or something. its going to do more harm then to cure u of what ur feeling inside. and make dua and inshallah inshallah, ull get an awesome heck of a teaching job with ur own classroom and what not allah tests us with only what we can handle.

heba: hang in there hun. liek i said allah tests us with only what we can handle. sometimes we feel as if well break from any more tests but we have to keep our head up and trust him to make things right.

I guess I should be a little clearer. I'm not avoiding all of my friends - just some of them. I'm kind of anti-social anyway, but that's another story for another time. Alhumdulillah, I do have the opportunity to take a trip. I'm leaving on Tuesday for CT, iA.

I guess all of these feelings are just taking over because the school year is ending and hiring season is beginning.

so glad i chopped my hair off! doesn't retain water as long beneath my hijab now, but still,it's colder than the rest of my body for longer, so that's good.

My friend got tickets for the Body Worlds exhibit at the Maryland Science Center. She invited me to check it out. She said that she thought that I would appreciate something like that. I <3 her. Anyway, I'm really excited. It looks pretty disgustingly interesting. That's a real human body by the way. Its been preserved by plastination.
