It will inshAllah! The same thing happened to me. My bank's fraud department called and left a message on the answering machine saying that they froze my account a couple of years ago. I thought it was a scam and called the bank while looking up my account online. I saw a bunch of red. My account was cleaned out and I was negative hundreds of dollars with fines up the ying yang. A guy at the bank told me to check to see if I had my bank card/debit card in my wallet and I did, so I didn't have to file a police report. He asked if I had been in Chicago over the weekend and I said no and that people could verify that I was in Baltimore (all of the purchases were made in Chicago). Basically he told me that someone stole my account number and most likely made a fraudulent card with a phony bank name and stuff. Anyway, they told once the money actually "posted" to my account I could come in and sign an affidavit. They also said that they would credit my account - all of the money and fines etc. That took about 3 days. A few months later the bank sent me a letter just stating that someone made fraudulent purchases using my account number and that the investigation was over. They didn't give me anymore information. But everything turned out okay, Alhumdulillah. I know it will for you too, iA .

Oh and once it does get sorted out and you have an official letter from your bank saying that it is, you need to report it to some credit bureaus!! So that it can go on your record and that they know you're in good standing etc.

aww inshallah khair.
same thing happened to me. someone got my account # and used about $2500 for random odd things...2 huge transfers to another account, paid their car insurance, and visited a few gay porn sites...yup.
i went to the bank and it took about 2 hours for me to sit down with a lady and go over which charges were mine and which werent. one charge showed up a few times as just a phone number. so the lady called it to make sure it wasnt something that would be a recurring charge...turns out it was gay porn.
but alhamdulillah the bank was really good about it, i had to sign a million things saying it wasnt me, but in the end i got my money back alh. within a few days also, just like fifa.
its sad and scary how easily it can happen, identity theft sucks

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
aww, Sumiyia. I'm so sorry to hear that. Today, AT&T called and said i never paid my bill, but it was their mistake. They never took the payment out, just posted it. It made me mad, because I called the bank and they said it never happened. now of course, I am broke, so I had to dip into the reserves. I didn't really want to though.
