Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Thank-you everyone for the concern.
Initially they'd kidnapped both him and his Dad while they were their way home from work. But they let the Father go, dropped him off in the middle, saying that they knew he was the only other Man in the house, and there would be no one to do the 'deal'. Masha'allah the Family is slightly well-off, and I think word got around. They knew everything about the house and the family and the business dealings. They had been keeping tabs on for quite a few months.
Spice, I know, alhamdulilah it wasn't any of the girls. Heard too many crazy stories about those. Yeah, they're defenitely going to give in money, there is not choice. They made some sick threats. Also, I heard sometimes they delay calling, just too hike up the familys anxiety.
I keep on thinking about his wife, they just got married last month and are both very young. And his Mom, dad and sisters.
It's very sad and pathetic when the people who do these things are Muslims. :
I hope he gets back safe too insha'allah.

Aww, thanks for asking! Alhamdulillah although he gave me a D ARGH, it did not affect my GPA as badly as I thought it would but long story short, he was a jerk, but it could have been worse.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
heba - yea its the one in cali... come visit me!!
OMG i met the sweetest little old lady on the trolley today! she was this cute really old little hijabi from iran and her face lit up when she saw me walk on. she was soooo friendly and talkative and everything. shes like 80 years old and got bored sitting around at home so she decided to take sewing classes like 50 miles away. she doesn't drive or have a car so shes been taking public transport to like the ghetto border to take these classes. and this other guy, a grungy looking white guy was being really nice to her and helping her on and off the trolley and carrying her big heavy bag for her... it makes me happy when people are genuinely nice and friendly to strangers
