I can do that because I don't make it the way they suggest. If I do, I have to take it off after 3 mins. It leaves my skin looking terrible and barely touches the hair.
The cream itself isn't that harsh, it's just that when the accelerator is added, the bleach forms. If you add less accelerator like I do, what you end up with is a very dilute amount of bleach. Because it's so dilute, you can leave it on for much longer - it has enough time to color the hair, and doesn't damage the skin so rapidly.

I don't follow directions ever (only when driving). Anyway, I still burned my face. I don't know if my skin was just over sensitive that day or what, but my face got really hot and red. I had to go to an ol' school Islamican's mehndi that day too. I remember crying to Fooz over AIM about how my face was on fire. Plus I just posted it about the 20 minute thing and being careful because she's trying it for the first time and you just never know when you're putting chemicals on your face what's going to happen .

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
UGHHHH.
so 1/3 of my grade for three classes was determined by this one humongous group project. (we got one grade for it, and three different professors counted that same grade as one third of the final grade)
my group was really motivated and we got everything done before the deadline. the other group members wanted to turn it in early, on a date we'd agreed upon earlier. they were so particular about getting it done on that date that they decided not to do a final revision of our 45-page paper (even though i offered to do that myself). so we turned it in without looking over it (definitely not my idea), and as a result we ended up with a ridiculous amount of grammatical errors and whatnot.
we were expecting an A, and just now i look at my grade online. turns out we got a B-. not even a B or a B+.
so now, despite all my hard work this semester, my grades in 3 of 4 classes are going to be lowered because of this project. just because no one listened to me when i offered to proofread one last time.

so yeah, some duaas for them please.

The money goes to the bride and groom. We gave most of the money to my parents though.

Wow Bruin that's awesome. Whenever I use facial bleach (I even use the gentler version of Sally Hansen) it makes my skin look terrrrible, red, blotchy, sometimes I even get white spots. I sometimes mash up cucumbers to make juice out of them mixed with a few drops of milk and apply that to my face with a cotton ball (leave it for 10-15 mins). It seems to soothe the after-effects of the bleach.Dont always have cucumbers though..
I will try changing the proportions of the powder and cream iA.
