Re: Female Personal Hygiene
you guys have to stop posting 7 pages while I'm busy.
ok. SALIKA- I have PCOS. I had trouble getting pregnant. However, my sister has PCOS and weight issues and she couldn't stop getting pregnant no matter how hard she tried- she has 7 kids.
also, congrats on setting the date.
also, I used to BE the bratty little sister. Fun times.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Ameerah and everyone else, thank you for the duas. Alhamdulillah the test was MUCH easier than I anticipated. I hope I get an A so it raises my overall grade in the class . Now.. Arabic exam tomorrow at 8 am, woot!
Nooni, ur mom is adorable
Salika, I dunno why everyone's hating on the trees, I think they look like something out of an "Ice Princess" sort of scene. Let me look at them again but I'm pretty sure they weren't that bad.
Zakk, Salika, I didn't know PCOS was that common . What causes it? What are the chances of developing it? How does it manifest itself?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I think it's time to take a break from Islamica again. No not overnight or for a week. Like the one I took when I got engaged...which lasted like months, over a year I think. There is too much drama around here and Islamica's really great for procrastination.
If I succeed in banning myself then great...if not, talk to you in a few days iA. I lowe you guys

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
lol back when i was trying to lose weight, i'd have these crazy nightmares where i'd casually be sipping a regular pepsi and then i'd start spitting it out and i'd wake up all freaked and make sure there was no pepsi around. i'm weird.

When my sister was six months pregnant, she went in for a routine exam. There her OB/Gyn told her that her blood pressure was extremely high and that she needed to go to the emergency room. While at the ER they gave her meds to bring down her BP, but it wasn't decreasing. The baby's heartbeat started weakening and the doctors were scared they were going to lose the baby and my sister. They ended up doing an emergency c-section (my sister remembers the doctors saying that they didn't need her consent to do it). She was exactly 6 months pregnant. Lungs are the last thing to develop, so my nephew's lungs were very underdeveloped. He was only 2 lbs 4 oz and spent some time in the hospital. His "natural" airway passage is very, very narrow so that's why he had to get the trach. He was basically suffocating without it. And because he has the trach, he can't make any sounds. Even if he's crying, you can't hear him. My sister literally has to watch him 24-7.
