I was at the job fair for about 3 hours. I saw some of my classmates Alh, which was completely awesome because I miss them. I saw my ex-mentor too. She actually smiled when she saw me and seemed genuinely happy to see me, Alhumdulillah  . Anyway, I handed out anywhere from 25 to 30 copies of my resume. I took 40 with me. A lot of the schools were "anticipating" openings. A few had openings, but for positions that I didn't qualify for (SpEd, PhysEd, Music, Media etc). I was a little discouraged while there, but inshAllah, something will happen - iA, iA. Anyway, jazakAllah for all of your support FPHers!  !

anyways, hi yall
sooo, im gross. i got surgery on monday, had taken a shower and washed my hair that mornin. and i havent washed it since....im scared its gunna hurt my stitches and cuts

Can you wear a shower cap over your head and just wash your head outside the shower avoiding your stitches? |

yeah one time on the old islamica, i made a thread with a poll cuz i was doing a sort of informal survey about abuse
it was anonymous.. i had all sorts of abuse listed as poll options..shoulda seen how depressing the physical and sexual abuse numbers were..

I just slept for like 4 1/2 hours . I was supposed to have a final today at 6 but the prof let me move it to next week alhamdulillah. Tomorrow's "Reading Day" (we only have one ) and then....it begins! *dun dun dunnnnn*
I dont feel like studying. I'm not in study mode. I wanna go out and do something, I feel like I have so much energy and the weather is warming up a little too now. I've been working on that dumb research paper nonstop since Saturday night (turned it in this morning alh) as well as writing other minor papers all due yesterday. I'm just NOT in study mode and I wanna get into it!

I have one exam tomorrow then a take-home that's due NEXT Friday but I'm going to try to finish it tomrorow so I can drive up for my bro's graduation and go on a mini vacation with the family over the weekend |
