Gosh, like u need poop AND pain. lovely. alhamdulilah. I hope I don't have dreams about this.
I'd probably be one of those women who didn't realise she was having a kid lol. God that's horrible...remember the story of the woman on the train?
anyhoo. PREGNANT PEOPLE you'll be fine insha Allah.
edit: ahah salika, nothing beats my throwing poop comment. I think i'd have to go and give birth in a private hospital, and like..the cleaners and whatnot would work as fast as the ones at the ka'ba and wizz around so fast u wouldnt notice a thing. And I think women hit/shout at their male partners alot I think mr.z is more worried about seeing me in pain though, when I had food poisening he was dying and running around looking after me. Perhaps it'd be kinder to make him wait outside and then rush in when the baby is about to emerge?
ooo what if a woman is having a caeserean (sp?!) there'd be no pushing, right?
|
zzze, you don't want to upset the pregnant people
Edit: Ya hehe... if you really want to have the least embarrassment, try water birth
No you don't push in a c-section.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Zzze, hahaha that's hilarious...throw it at her. I thought I was the only one who didnt want my inlaws in the room and I hope that when the time comes my hubby or mil don't make a fuss and go, "well why can your mom come in and not my mom? " .... The only ppl I'd ever let in are my mom and my hubby but strict orders will be to stand at the head of the bed! I've heard horror stories of how husbands never see their wives the same after they witness a huge head emerging from "down there." I know I never felt the same after I saw it in health class in 8th grade

So I wonder, if a woman did "go" during labor, would she even really know at the time?
Ok, another story My dad said this lady was giving birth and during labor she kicked her husband

On purpose?! And I've heard similar toilet stories too.. it's weird

And if the husband is next to the bed, would he even know (unless it has a strong smell)? If he's sitting next to you, he can't really see what's going on because the woman is wearing something that covers her legs from that angle, ya know?
Oh my God this is getting gross I'm gonna stop

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
assalamu alaykum
water birth...so the poop floats up? Why do I know this? Public swimming baths...never get in one.
jellymill: i didnt specify who the poop should be thrown at I just meant anyone who may want to enter that's not welcome! Like my sister. I know she'd take pictures of me looking ugly and blackmail me...like when i had to wear my scouts leader uniform in a public park. the shame.
ok C section it is.
bye
edit: you ladies are fast! i choose scar, pain , bedridden for a few weeks vc ''other'' natural cons. but i havent given birth so Zakk can go ahead and punch me
some men may see it as ''a miracle'' and others ...not. Perhaps there's a way in which to tell how ur husband may react? no idea. I'm sure u couldn't care less for months after the birth, though.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
c-section is not fun. And it complicates things if you ever want to have a vaginal birth in the future. And it takes longer to recover from. And it's painful. And not healthy. And it scars.

I never got over it. I wasn't supposed to be looking...I was looking down and just as I looked up thinking it was over they showed a direct shot of it coming out and... I'm not even going to begin to describe it. the image is imprinted on my brain since I was 13. It REALLY gave me a negative view of childbirth for the longest time and I still feel sick picturing it. Nobody should have to see something like that in that context

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
come on guys. i'm sure it's not so bad. it's pain yes, but it's bearable (or else no one would want more than one kid) and it's natural and just... ignore the poop part! or just eat watermelon and very little fiber the week you're supposed to be due.
babies are cute.

i didnt mind it. it was pretty freaky how something so big could...but yeah, i didn't think it was all that gruesome at all (bar the blood covered alien looking baby). *breathes* i shouldn't post when I'm hyper.

I'm not good with pain. I get crabby and angry and start to feel hot. I think I will ask for one of those watchamacallits...the big needle in the back that numbs you from waist down? I ALWAYS forget what its called..

ok uhh how do i put this. the alien-looking-baby didnt bother me, the loads and loads of liquid crap coming out with the emerging bulbous head did. Ok I know it's natural but why do we have to see it on tv? Ok I'm gonna stop now before I make myself and others sick.
and yes vanilla, babies are cute. But watching them come out of somebody else is disturbing and hearing stories about skin ripping in all the wrong places during childbirth scares me to death
