Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I don't even know what to say. I feel really sad, let down, and all around bad. I know I have a lot to be grateful for, but I feel so bad about myself - physically, mentally, and most importantly spiritually . I'm going to a job fair tomorrow. Please, please pray that I get a job inshAllah, so that I can start my career. I know Allah Swt is the best of planners and He has a plan for me. Please make duaa that inshAllah his plan has a teaching job for me. JazakAllah .

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Alhumdulillah for
-remembering Allah doesn't put a burden on us greater than we can bear
-not projecting disastrous outcomes of potential situations based on above fact
-ensuing mellowness from practice of above points
-being able to realize that temporary insanity and stress is temporary and probably more related to fluctuating postpartum hormones then to any sort of impending doom
alhumdulillah.
duas for all that need them.
also, am NOT stoned. just mellow. possibly will cycle from mellow to insane later

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I think I saw love last night.
There was this one couple sitting across from us, it was obvious they were of lower income, torn clothing, and worn out shoes. The couple was middle aged, and had the sweetest little baby I'd ever seen, smiling at the ceiling and playing with her stuffed toy.
The woman looked really, really tired (probably because of the newborn) the husband was just as tired though -periodically dozing off. Anyway, this one moment the woman leaned over and kissed the husbands hand and murmured something, the husband-who'd been dozing just smiled in his sleep and murmured something back, and her tired face just lit up...
And i thought wow, despite whatever their life must be life they really love one another. People really do make it through. We're fed so much crap about marriage is this and this, and you need that and that. There're long lists of demands and "preferences" and so many ideals which really mean nothing. but in reality you dont need any of 'that', you need sincerity and love and compassion. You can make it through without the material crap as long as a couple is sincere with one another. and the love for material things makes me feel sick, and kind of sad too. theres so much more to life than tangible stuff.
sigh. im a nerd. bye.
