Then she really wasn't your friend to begin with. Drop that b*tch. I hate people like that.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I took my laptop to class and actually kept up with the professor for once (I type like 80 words per minute last time I checked which sometimes gets embarrassing in a quiet classroom...at least the guy next to me had his too )
So my husband just got to Tampa and I'm so wishing I was going there with him, he's only been here for 5 days this week and left this morning, I miss him already . Last minute plan-change and it turns out he's not gonna stay there and have me go after finals, he's coming back next week...*sigh* ah well, at least I get to see him.
Guys if you find the time, please make du'a that he finds a different job. The conditions in the company are terrible....I mean social-wise. Most of the guys on the rigs watch porn and the guys in the office go out drinking so he's always isolating himself from the other guys when they do that so that he doesnt get mixed up in it. He ends up depressed and even more lonely and it's really hard for me to hear him on the phone sometimes when he talks about how awful he feels. It's just not a good situation and I think he just needs to be here. Inshallah he finds something

I agree. At best keep her as an acquaintance but distance yourself from ppl like that because they suck.

that really sucks
people can be really disappointing sometimes. especially when its someone you really love and trust who acts like a complete idiot.

Indeed it is. The way I look at it is, good thing she showed her true colors before your "friendship" with her continued/got more serious.
This is the reason I don't have many friends, I can honestly say I have one true friend and that's muslimahpower. Everyone else = acquaintance or stranger.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
ooooh yummay. I bet I should post this in the tea thread (maybe I will!) but I just had a huge mug of black tea (desi style) with honey instead of sugar and evaporated milk. That's how I always make it but I havent had it in ages. Even though now I have a tea baby (instead of a "food baby") and it feels like my stomach is a balloon AND i'll probly be up for a while now, it's still soooooooo good

Well, some people's genuine friendships aren't what they appear. This kind of thing happens to everyone. People just don't talk about it that much in real life.
