Re: Female Personal Hygiene
heba, alhamdulillah im glad it went ok!
PhD and sally...thank you for the advice! yeah i dont think i would be able to run every single day...what im planning on now is every other day or so, and do something else like elliptical on the other days. i still dont like running that much (im hoping ill learn to like it more eventually haha) but since its such a challenge for me i really like the fact that i can set and eventually reach little goals along the way. inshallah
moonlightrose and laimuun...
sona and sumiyia...thats awesome!! mashallah. now is def the time to buy if you can.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Sona, that is so exciting! I felt the same way about our first house and the place where we are now, but alhumdulillah, it worked out. I hope that it does for you too!
Heba, I'm glad it went well - let yourself rest today though!
Fatima, sally's right - I don't run every day. I run three days and do spinning or the elliptical in between. I add in pilates or weight lifting when I remember/feel like it (I need to be better about this). I haven't run since my half marathon though because my achilles has been bothering me. So it's been all spinning or elliptical. When I first started, I couldn't even run a mile, so you can do it!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Dangit, I'm STARVING, and I just ate 3 hours ago. How am I supposed to keep my weight down when I have to eat all the time to keep my blood sugar up?
I got my incredibly hard take-home exam back. I got an 82%. It means I did well, but I'm still upset because she took 20 points off for a stupid algebra error. I feel like she gave me no credit for having understood the concept. Then, instead of congratulating us for how well we did on the exam, she makes this horrible comment that she must have made the exam too easy. TOO EASY???? WTH, I spent 16 hours working on her damned exam! If her take-home final is too much harder, I won't have time to study for my other class!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Man.. this sucks. I was supposed to meet the hindi professor to talk about placing out of, and getting credit for, the hindi/urdu classes (they sprung some last-minute mandatory classes on me...typical ). He said come between 3 and 4.. I decided at take a 30 minute nap at 2:30...my husband called over and over and I set all the alarms but I didnt hear any of it. I didnt wake up until 4. This looks so bad on my part
I feel so cold that the bones in my legs seem to hurt. I am a first-class idiot and stopped taking my meds for like 2 days (remember how much I was complaining about feeling sick? Ugh.). Because I'm such a dumbhead of course the sickness came back despite me taking meds before going to bed last night... I woke up in the middle of the night with a terrible headache and today I just ache all over. Inshallah I'm gonna stick to them this time and hopefully will feel better before the major finals start

Ya, I'm just being a baby. He's coming May 23, in four weeks.
A few weeks ago my friends wanted to plan a road trip and picked that weekend. My birthday is May 22. We agreed to see each other once a month and he didn't tell me anything about May so before I told my friends whether I could come, I wanted to make sure what weekend he planned on coming. It went like this:
Me: So my friends want to go on a roadtrip on May 23 weekend, what's your schedule like? You want to come that weekend or a different weekend?
Him: Well, I think I actually prefer the 23rd weekend...
Me: No that's cool, I'll just tell my friends I can't come
Him:... *silence* Actually, I wanted to surprise you for your birthday by pretending I couldn't come this month then call you from the airport and tell you to pick me up.... I already booked the tickets and you mom is in on it too...
Me: Awwww
So I kind of ruined his surprise but I don't know how I'd react if he surprised me.. I mean a girl's gotta be prepared for these things
Anyways, thanks for the consolation. Good thing we're having our wedding like 8 months sooner than originally planned alhamdulillah!
to everyone. Glad your surgery went well Heba

m'A, it's always wonderful to hear all your cute stories. May Allah (swt) always keep you happy.
Glad, everything went well Heba!
Sona and Sumi - Best of luck with the house thing!
We're also of thinking to buy our first "house", i'A i'A i hope it happens when the time is right. I want to have a room for the baby.
Duas for anyone who's in need.
So, seriously i don't like to eat every 1/2 hour, its rather annoying.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
so I just found out that my "best friend" has told personal stuff about me to someone we know. and I confronted her, she admitted it.
I never discuss my friends' personal lives with other people. I don't tolerate that kind of high school bull****.
