so like i've been so busy, alhumdulillah. and i'm off today but i've got so much to do. i've to figure out how to set up this corevolution workout thingy and fix his resume and work on the floorplan (inshaAllah) and clean and cook and defuzz and go the the library and the mediterranean market for cilantro and baby cucumbers... and take a nap and be grateful for the warmer weather (alhumdulillah) and look forward to going for a walk tonight and enter my CE answers online to get credit and realize that i can only dream of taking a nap i'm sooooooooooooo sleepy. i wish i didn't have to work nights even if it's only like 2-3 nights a month. it like totally throws me off of my routine...
please, if you can make dua that things get better at work for me and my coworkers and they can figure out scheduling w/o making us variable people work weekend after weekend and crazy night shifts , it'll be much appreciated... thanks.

but, alhumdulillah i can't really complain, i'm the happiest i can be and i have everything, alhumdulillah. except for one thing and that's okay too cuz someone reminded me that in life you can't have everything and i feel like i do have almost everything (which can be like having nothing) because it's all relative and love and loss makes one appreciate life so much more alhumdulillah and it's a good lesson in wanting something more than what's material and instant gratification. and you know when people say it's prolly for the best then one day you know in your heart that it is for the best and you feel stronger and more grateful cuz you made it through and can only hope and pray for your heart... and they say God favors broken hearts and so when we have to choose to crush our heart and our innermost dream-desires because the only alternative wasn't actually an alternative, we can only hope for His forgivenness and love, inshaAllah. because He's prolly the only one who knows that even though it may appear otherwise, we're only following our heart and our heart's in the right place (inshaAllah) and life is really shorter than it might seem sometimes and there's more to it than my existence, alhumdulillah.

I've been having major problems with my iman (for months and months now) and the one thing that could help me retrieve it was what I was avoiding like the plague for reasons I dont care to mention now. And subhanAllah, THEY contacted ME and said theyd liek me back. And arranged for the time and place and everything.
its like.
sigh.

alhamdulilah.

Awwwww I can totally relate

So I started getting cold symptoms and mom recommended this vicom stuff which is like candy you're supposed to eat every three hours until the symptoms go away. I want to keep munching on them they're sort of like taffies yummy... I should need, I really need to study.

Aw, iA khair
Okay, a quick google search lead me to this (its an excerpt of an article):

What can I do to get relief?
If you have a mild case of nausea and vomiting, some relatively simple measures may be enough to help. (If not, there are safe and effective medications you can take.) Not all the following suggestions are supported by hard evidence, but obstetricians and midwives commonly recommend them, and many women swear by them.
• Try to avoid foods and smells that trigger your nausea. If that seems like almost everything, it's okay to eat the few things that do appeal to you for this part of your pregnancy, even if they don't add up to a balanced diet.

It might also help to stick to bland foods. Try to eat food cold or at room temperature, because it tends to have less of an aroma than when it's hot.

• Keep simple snacks, such as crackers, by your bed. When you first wake up, nibble a few crackers and then rest for 20 to 30 minutes before getting up. Snacking on crackers may also help you feel better if you wake up nauseated in the middle of the night.

• Eat small, frequent meals and snacks throughout the day so that your stomach is never empty. Some women find that carbohydrates are most appealing when they feel nauseated, but one small study found that high-protein foods were more likely to ease symptoms.

• Avoid fatty foods, which take longer to digest. Also steer clear of rich, spicy, acidic, and fried foods, which can irritate your digestive system.

• Try drinking fluids mostly between meals. And don't drink so much at one time that your stomach feels full, as that will make you less hungry for food. A good strategy is to sip fluids frequently throughout the day.

Aim to drink about a quart and a half altogether. If you've been vomiting a lot, try a sports drink that contains glucose, salt, and potassium to replace lost electrolytes.

• Give yourself time to relax and take naps if you can. Watching a movie (preferably not one about food!) or visiting with a friend can help relieve stress and take your mind off your discomfort. Or try hypnosis — while there's no definitive evidence that it helps with morning sickness, it has been shown to be effective in combating nausea during chemotherapy.

• Try taking your prenatal vitamins with food or just before bed. You might also want to ask your healthcare provider whether you can switch to a prenatal vitamin with a low dose of iron or no iron for the first trimester, since this mineral can be hard on your digestive system.

• Try ginger, an alternative remedy thought to settle the stomach and help quell queasiness. See if you can find ginger ale made with real ginger. (Most supermarket ginger ales aren't.) Grate some fresh ginger into hot water to make ginger tea, or see if ginger candies help.

A few studies found that taking powdered ginger root in capsules provided some relief, but be sure to talk to your provider before taking ginger supplements. There's no way to be sure how much of the active ingredient you're getting in these supplements, so some experts think it's best not to use them. (As with many other things that are helpful in small amounts, the effects of megadoses are unknown.)

• Try an acupressure band, a soft cotton wristband that's sold at drugstores. You strap it on so that the plastic button pushes against an acupressure point on the underside of your wrist. This simple and inexpensive device, designed to ward off seasickness, has helped some pregnant women through morning sickness — although research suggests that it may be largely a placebo effect.

And from another site:

Treating Morning Sickness
Morning sickness can really get you down sometimes: it makes eating difficult, sleeping impossible, and work a hassle. Aim to reduce those symptoms of nausea and vomiting so you can be sure to stay healthy and happy throughout your pregnancy. Here are some great tips on how to deal with morning sickness and get nausea relief.

-Eat small meals and snacks frequently throughout the day. If your stomach is empty, this can make nausea worse, so try to eat something every two hours or so.
-Avoid foods that trigger nausea. Stay away from strong smells and try not to cook strong-smelling foods in areas without proper ventilation.
-Keep some plain crackers by your bedside. Munch on these before you get up in the morning in order to quell nausea.
-Stay hydrated. Fluids will help you from getting dehydrated and will soothe the stomach.
-Avoid fatty foods and spicy foods. These foods are hard for your stomach to digest and may trigger nausea and vomiting.
-Take your prenatal vitamins with some food or just before you head for bed.
Suck on ginger candies or drink some ginger tea when you feel nauseated. Ginger is known to quiet a queasy tummy.

Interestingly, small amounts of caffeinated sodas help with nausea. May not be what you want during pregnancy, but a possibility if nothing else is handy.
