Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I understand she gave birth and all, but if she called her, why couldn't she call me? We go back years. Anyway, whatever.

She obviously doesn't like you as much as the other friend. You're right...she could have left you a voicemail. It's only pregnancy, it's not like she had brain surgery.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
A close family friend and the mother of a former BFF is back in the hospital, suffering from a relapse of cancer. Please keep her and her family in your Ramadan (and post-Ramadan) duas.
May Allah swt grant her shifa and ease her pain. May He reward her and her family for any suffering or hardship they endure, especially during this month, and expiate any sins they've committed (both knowingly and unknowingly) because of it. Ameen.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Salaams, Ramdan Mubarak 2 everyone!
Just wondering, I am finding that I am loosing my appetite right after I break my fast with a date or two..Then I don't "feel like eating anything", whereas when its lunch time my stomach growls. Since i have packed extra weight over the years, I prefer that Ramdan will help me loose some weight..inshaAllah x infinity...
.but I really WISH that this weight loss will be permanent, not just water loss...or worse... I am afraid if I start working out after Ramdan, my apetitie will increase which might slightly increase my metabolism, , so this help maintain my "weight", I won't be able to shed the extra pounds... .

even if you arent hungry, you need to eat something more than just that. regardless of apetite, your body needs fuel to function properly. eat something that includes protein and fiber. and also lots of water, dehydration is a bad thing.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I haven't weighed myself in a long time. I am afraid of the result. However, I haven't been stuffing myself like I usually do during Ramadan. Yesterday, I was in class at Iftar time. I didn't have anything with me, since like an idiot, I left it in my car. Anyway, I took the stairs down (The class is on the fifth floor) and I went to my car, but I was so dizzy. Lately, if I do not eat, even when it wasn't Ramadan, I feel really weak and stuff. My mom makes me test my blood sugar, but it seems to be normal; like last night, it was 94. I kinda can't go to the doctor because I do not know how my insurance is while im not working.

i had scrambles for suhur...(thats protein i guess, then I had some whole wheat bun = n apple fiber)....
I am too scared to put the weight back on...two weeks ago, I weighed myself...if the scale was not broken, i lost the extra 10 pounds which i gained DURING the summer...i dont like this on and off battle..why can't my weight just decrease with khair????? WHY? ...i wanna weigh the same or less as i was in HS..
