This lasted until 4: 30 pm and by 3 pm my mum was literally crying because her pain had started again (the meds were wearing off).
I finally had it and went to the receptionist and asked her what the problem was and why she kept making us wait. Before she even finished, I just exploded with anger and yelled at her : "To hell with your few minutes! This is an emergency and you kept us waiting here since 10 am.....6 hours!! You bloody better hell get me in there right now or else I'll sue you and this damn clinic and then you can tell me to wait a few more minutes behind bars!" Thats just basically the summary of my war of words with her.......the Head came out to talk to me and as best I could explain patiently, I did. 2 minutes later we are in the room waiting for the doctor.
By this time mum was so much in pain that the needle for anesthesia hurt a little bit more than it should have. I was standing there praying to Allah (swt) to ease my mum's pain and all the while crying.......after the extraction, the nurse had to take me out to calm me down. The extraction was successful and we were leaving. But I wasn't done. I called back the Head and told him that the receptionist better get suspended for her behavior or else I'm going to report this to higher authorities. He agreed and I think she got a suspension for 3 months without pay, which she should thank me for because apparently she kept "losing" my mum's file I feel satisfied. I hope I never see her again
Afterwards, the pain mum had was 10 times more terrible than before, but Alhamdullilah it went away within 2 days and now all is good......no more pain!

Omigod, go you! Mashallah and alhamdulillah your mom is feeling better. That stupid receptionist.. I wish you'd done it 3 hours earlier, your poor mommy. Is everything done and over and taken care of now?

I use Mary Kay Velocity Lightweight Moisturizer. It's oil absorbing and has a small amount of salicylic acid in it...I loooove it! I usually put Clean n Clear Ultralight Oxygenating moisturizer (spf 15) over it if I'm going outside

ur my hero. inshallah she got fired, thats what shed desever, stupid people. like hello, i cant believe u waited out 6 hours hun, thats SOME patience in u. i woulda gotten mad within more than 1 hour and told them if they dont do something about it im changing doctors/hospitals/ AND suing em. its so hard to see mothers and fathers in pain. may Allah grant ur mother shifa'a and ease her pains soon inshallah. ameen.
on another note, i just got home from MIST day 1. i wasnt in the mood to go at first, but i left the house at 5, battled traffic, and then got there around 6. as soon as i got in, they needed me to judge a category, so i got out of that at 8:30 (wow i knwo right?) and then ate (barely) and then went to see the boys free style rap which was sooooooooooo funnny! haha i swear some of tehse high shcool kids are getting shorter and smaller each year! not to mention therye just cuties! haha. got home around 10ish cuz i had to bring one of my little sisters freinds home too so her parents coudl pick her up, and then apologize to them for the lateness, though the freind had wanted to stay longer hehehe. but yeah, it wasnt so bad. i had an okayishly good day.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I fell asleep on the couch earlier and then my husband called and woke me up and now I'm not sleepy and I feel sick and nauseous because I think I ate too many Raisinets. I still have to clean my room, do the rest of my laundry and clean the living room before my mom and sister come tomorrow morning. I think I'm going to throw up

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
So there's this group of stupid hijabis that I've mentioned on here before who like to drive around at 1 am (and sometimes at 4 am!) just honking, blasting music and yelling. They are usually over by my apartment b/c the building next door houses a lot of their hijabi friends. They are at it again, blasting Alicia Keys, singing along (sounds more like shouting), honking, yelling and chanting other girls' names. I was ready to pull my hair out but had to laugh when some guy in another apartment shouted, "SHUT THE F*** UUUUP!!!"

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I just found out that the grandmother of a very good friend of mine has passed away. She was in her 90's, but I had no idea that she was even unwell until he texted me right now to ask me to remember her in my prayers. I hope he and family are doing ok, inshallah.
