Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Yesterday my sister and I got into an argument....and she was like " you should be the better person!"
and im like I dont see anything wrong with treating people the way they treat you.
My personal belief the nicer you are to people , the more they feel like they have a license to walk all over you...and take advantage of you....which is not cool in my books.

alhamdulillah. Thanks to everyone dua's things went fine. Baby appears to be developing normally, I actually lost a lb since last month (but that isn't really a big deal), and my blood pressure is down from last visit. Whatever caused last months rapid growth appears to have gone away, I'm only slightly larger than I should be, instead of much larger. Nothing to worry about. She gave me a green light to visit my sis-in-law next month too.
The ultrasound technician couldn't determine the sex though. Baby had his/her legs crossed, or was lying back towards the transducer the whole time. So, I guess it'll be all gender neutral stuff for now!

Congrats to all the ladies going through great things and InshaAllah Khair before, during, and after
All the womens only gyms in my area (I admit, I didn't look far - all within a 5 mile radius) are circuit training types so there isnt a treadmill or elliptical in sight. Should I go for it - does anyone have any experience/comments on those types of gyms vs regular ones?
I need to get moving now that I'm living a student/wife/waffles as midnight snacks life
Daily walks are out now that there's a COUGAR in the area
oh. and super EW @ the PM. i'll delete w/o opening

:HUGS:
I always drop in FPH and read just to keep up and I'm around in all the other little ways (blogspot/facebook - hello - PM me for details!).
The last 5 months were spent situating into post shaadi life, school, and switching states permenantly. Aside from getting hit by my freshman 15 4yrs too late, alhamdulillah, all is well.

i was just trying to make Asvi feel better about being left out among her cousins. Kind of like, "you're prettier than them anyway".

you sounded kind of angry

It's an aqiqah right? Mabrook, mashallah
I have a question. What's the story behind the practice? Is it sunnah and is there any proven benefit? I've always been curious about that...my sister and I's heads were shaved at 7 days but they didnt do it with my brother.
