not to say that those diets are healthy and a good long term solution, but (please don't judge guys!) i once did a very, very low carb diet w/exercise for two months around two years ago, lost 15 lbs of real fat i had been trying to lose forever, and haven't gained it back yet. though by the end second month, i started adding fruits like raspberries, blueberries and melon and whole wheat carbs.

I think I mentioned this before, but I'm on a diet that allows for carbs, but it has to be below a certain number on the glycemic index. As some of you know, a too high of a glycemic load will trigger high amounts of insulin, which triggers fat storage. Eating below a certain amount will keep insulin regulated. I can't cut out carbs. I've tried and I got so turned off from chick and eggs that I had an aversion from protein full foods for a while. Thinking about them made me queezy. Viva la carbs!  |

In other news, i'm sick of being the only one who keeps in touch w/friends or cousins. I always get left out among my girl cousins. 
and some more other news: last night hubby and i watched a pregnanacy dvd together, soo cutee
nite e nite girls..i'm off to watch my top chef.

i'd be pissed if my husband didn't share news w/ me over the phone..but, cousins, girls, friends...it's k..and give her an exuse..she's probably really tired and talking on the phone takes a lot longer than..say, typing up a message on fb

i have to leave my house in 12 hours to go to fooz's wedding, inshaAllah. i have sooo much stuff to do (laundry, pack, clean the car, and um.. girl things ) and i've been sitting in front of the tv for the last 3 hours.
