Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Last time I spoke to my eye doctor, he said that around 30 is the best age to get laser vision correction. It's the time when your vision has become stable, and before you start to lose near vision.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I had an appointment today and they pushed my due date back to july 3. alhamdulillah, but I'm kinda disappointed. that means my baby will be even younger when I have to go back to school on august 25. as hard enough as it'll be, if the baby's even younger, it's going to be 10 times worse. and also, the thought of possibly delivering on a holiday scares me because what if my doctor is off and I get stuck with whoever is on duty. keep me in your duas please.

Hmm.. I will definitely consider it when I'm closer to 25 inshallah (30 is too long to wait for me ). I got glasses at age 8 and around age 9 my eye number would change every 3 months, then it slowed to about twice a year by age 14-15 and now it hasnt changed in over a year alhamdulillah. ...And that's how they got this weak .
I got some sexayy glasses too so I could wear them instead of contacts every single day

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Oh I've heard many ages then including 25 and 18. My eyesight hasn't changed since high school and even then it was miniscule.
I think you kind of have to get it redone after a few years anyway so if your eyesight goes down a bit after like 10 years you're gonna get it anyway. My mom had it done way back in the day, like 15 years ago and she had to do it again recently. I don't know if studying for the bar by itself will damage my eyesight. I'll ask my doc though... but he said I'm the perfect candidate anyway. Maybe everyone is different?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
hehehe that reminds me.. I'm ALMOST done with my hectic week. Again last night I got like 2 hours of sleep and had to run to yoga this morning (yoga is no fun when you're exhausted ). I wrote a 5 page paper in 2 hours and now I'm going to sleep inshallah.. when I wake up tonight I will finish up my last paper for tomorrow and then I'm pretty much doooone for the week.

hey, salaams, just ask your doctor who covers her. My doctor was on vacation when I had the baby but her partner is super nice and anyway she only works with a female on-call group.
May Allah make it easy for you!
Guys, your duas were appreciated. My delivery was SO EASY mashaAllah. After the epidural, they broke my water, and it happened so fast after that. I could not believe how quickly I went from 3 to 10 cm. And she came out in one push. They actually had to tell me to stop pushing, lol. Alhumdulillah, after the last time I was so scared I almost started crying before the epidural, but everything went well. And no tearing or episiotomy, which I didn't expect would happen either. Alhumdulillah, alhumdulillah, alhumdulillah.
I prayed for all of you, especially before the epidural when I was having painful contractions... I wanted the impact of the pain on my duas for you guys

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Oh and I have this pet peeve, am I the only one who feels this way?
Like ok, some people add me on facebook without bothering to introduce themselves or why they want to add me. Mind you, these are people I don't know. I know sometimes people think I remember them, but normally, when I ask who they are and what they want it's like "oh, I'm just making friends" or "I saw your name and wanted to add you." A lot of the times these people have no friends in common with me. It's just rude, plain and simple.
Sometimes I'm bored and I go into my husband's account and this girl I've met like 3 times in my life decided to add him.. without introducing heself, not even a "hello."
I know people like to network and I think networking is very important, but seriously, simply click the "add a message" link and introduce yourself, why you're adding me, if we know people in common.
ok, I'm done.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
laser eye surgery is on my list of things to do once i graduate too inshallah
laimuun don't worry, inshallah khair. i know the thought seems overwhelming, having a baby and being in school, but it can be done! my sister had her first baby about 5 days before starting pharmacy school...and she got better grades than i did throughout mashallah. from the moms in school that i know, having a baby will definitely keep you on task and get rid of procrastination, inshallah. haha
