anyway i dont mean to sound selfish or stuck up, much love to all those who are hitched or getting hitched. may Allah make things easy for you all, ameen

ameen to the duaa.
and yeah, i agree with you. not that i dont want to get married, of course i want to eventually..but im definitely not one of those girls thats dying to get married. alhamdulillah i like my life as it is and i know things will be very different once im married. not bad different, just different...and more complicated because like you said youre not thinking 'me' anymore, its 'us'.

There's a right time for everything and you guys are still young, so there's plenty of time! It's good to be content in whatever stage of life you're in

Please make dua that my teacher decides to not give us an exam on the day scheduled so I can a) have an extra week before summer school and b) more importantly, *finally* (after 2 years!) get my lasik done!
Anyways, I *think* maybe insha'Allah I lost a pound! Thanks sally Either way, I think I even look thinner but we'll see. Could be water weight but I'm going to let this encourage me to keep going so excited!
Oh and I see hubby this weekend!
Anyways heba, you should consider finding workouts that you can do at home using your own body weight. It's just as effective and you don't have to stress over not being able to go the gym. It's so easy to fall out of this habit because it requires all this self discipline (at least for me )
Anyways, I hope everyone is doing well.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
i couldnt sleep after i woke up at 6 this morning. so i laid in bed until 7:30 when i finally decided that maybe i should work out instead. so i did some crunches, pushups, stretches and then i jump roped....i was sooo out of breath within like 3 sets of 15-20 rope turns (is that what u call them? when the rope goes over your head each time? :whatever: lol) and that made me sad cuz i used to be sooo in shape and could do sooo many without having to stop and catch my breath. i really need to start working out and running daily. today was a start, inshallah ill keep up with it!
and then i showered and went to school and i actualyl feel good today cuz i got enough time to dress up nice in the morning. AND i had a good breakfast.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I used to worry about it myself, but my thinking and priorites changed once I became pregnant. That's not to say I stopped looking after myself though, but you have to accept that your body will change eventually anyway, whether through pregnancy or simply ageing. Anyway, I don't think it's true that they NEVER go away, although obviously your body isn't going to be exactly the same as it was before. Just like your body at 32 isn't going to be the same as it was at 22. Fact of lyfe and all that. Don't stress about it
