O and Did you break out at all in your early pregnancy?
I don't think it's worth it to actually buy pregnancy books.. I've just gone to the library and borrowed from friends.

and I have problems with acne in general, but I didn't break out any more than normal. though, in the past 2 weeks, I've noticed my cheeks are constantly flushed and red looking because of hormones. not very pretty.

I have three books, two given to my by friends, and one given to my by the doctors office.

I am definately more broken out than normal, mostly in my hairline and back. My complexion is all messed up (I think) to the point that I want to wear light foundation every day. My husband doesn't think I need it, but I look at myself and see red and brown spots on my face and it makes me wanna I had such beautiful skin before mashallah, and now it's all weird. Yeah, and I have headaches more ofthen than I used to. Good thing is that they go away if I just rest for a few hours and they aren't very intense, but the frequency is irritating.

Salaams,

Thanks for all the congrats, I haven't been able to keep up with the thread.

Someone asked... yes all my kids have my hubby's last name.

I posted a pic in my thread.

My skin was getting weird on me and i knew this wasn't my normal AF..so i knew something was up w/me..i also have these red spots on my face which hurt when i touch them..and i also don't wanna wear thick make up like Mac foundation, so i'm gonna invest in bare minerals again.
My lower backaches have already started and i get tired/sleepy very often. It sucks..and of course the number urination has increased. No major headaches, just really light ones.

Can i do any exercises?? can you guys suggest something please
And can you please recommend books that i can read?

It's true when they say not to fall into friendship too easily.

But now theyre filtering again, and I just don thtink I can keep up with it this time. That's 50 students from 300 who will go on to second year and the rest will be made to either re-apply next year or try to scramble into another prog.
As if it wasnt competitive enough....

I need to stop compalining though, alhamdulilah, I couldve been reject from first year altogether. just really stressed.
Alhamdulilah.

DUAS!
whoa that's really competitive. i've never heard of programs like that. i thought once you're in, you're in. do all your credits go to waste if you get filtered out after your first year?

Awww mashallah zakk, she's so beautiful

Du'as for everyone in here who needs them.. Asvi, Spice, Fooz and everyone else iA

----

I have something to ask all of you that have already had at least one baby. My roommate told me that Cindy Crawford of all people has the horrid looking post-pregnancy belly and then she showed me the picture.. a friend of mine told me that black or dark stretch marks are not uncommon and that they hardly ever go away without special treatments. I heard that the wrinkly belly look is also extremely common after giving birth and that it NEVER goes away unless you have seriously good genes (I mean look at Crawford, she was skinny again 6 weeks after giving birth but her stomach STILL looks like that ). This makes me never want to have children of my own. EVER. Why the heck am I working out and taking care of myself now only to end up (literally) scarred for life a few years down the road?

Yea i've been working on it all day, havent done fb or islamica or anything alh . I'm takin a break right now though but looks like time's up.. .

btw, about the question I asked about being permanently scarred after pregnancy, I dont want to sound shallow or evil or something. Inshallah thats not my intention. To me it's a scary thought to think that in a few years my stomach will probably never be flat or stretch-mark-free again
