Well, I started using an electric shaver anyway so that helped. In the long run though no, once the hair starts to decrease you'll shave less often. Like that review from slime posted, the lady has been using it for a few months (20 weeks to be exact) and is saying that it takes weeks for the hair to grow back and some of the hair is not growing in at all. Imagine using this baby for a year? I mean I can't have hairy legs for obvious reasons and waxing/epilating delays the treatment.

does "beyond your bikini line" mean it can be used there or not?

You can't use it *ahem* above the bikini line according to them, but well, I saw no harm done.

On another note, it's like, ok I'm still breaking out but my face is SOOOOOOOOOOO DRY! No matter how much moisturizer I put it's still dry. If my skin is dry why the heck am I getting acne still????????
Yesterday I went to sephora to get blades replaced and this random sales lady for one of the products felt like it was her business to ask me what I'm doing for my face. Thanks lady, did I come in for acne products, no? It's none of your frikkin business then she wanted to give me samples and "aww honey, it'll go away" I literally almost cried right there in the store. Of course on the way home I cried..
I called the university last week to make an appointment with the endocrinologist and the day (Friday) of I wait 1.5 hours to just to see the doctor and she starts asking me questions and she looks at me and says "have you thought about seeing an endocrinologist?" I'm like "Aren't you one? I made an appointment with an endocrinologist..." Looks like the university sent me to the wrong department????????????? I was soooo upset. They were nice enough to find me an endo asap and made an appointment, but now I have to wait another 3 weeks. Ugh.
And my blood results came back, everything is normal. Like I frikkin have the symptoms (mild alhamdulillah, well relatively I guess?) of PCOS but I don't have it? To boot, the acne in women with excess androgens is a result of oily skin but my skin is so painfully dry. I'm all hunky dorey on the inside. I mean I take care of my body, I'm very careful about what I do to it and what I put into it and it hates me anyway

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Hmm, why dont you ladies do them on your own? its not all that tricky once you get the hang of it. the key is to be able to position yourself right. it requires practice but once you get it, theres nothing like it, very convenient

I used to do them myself - arms and all. I just stopped, not too sure why. I guess I got lazy or used to having someone else do them for me. LOL.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Spice, I would give my legs an 8 on the smoothness scale after using no!no!...I go over the area about 2-3 times before I go to the next area and make sure all of the hair being treated gets beamed at least once. It definently doesn't hurt but has a slight smell. You guys should try it, Sephora has an awesome return policy so if you don't like it 3,4,5 months from the time you bought it they'll still take it back. It's worth a try.

That sucks. Try not to worry and everything will be okay. Stress can play a big factor in how your body functions, so don't let it get to you.

Aww sweetie, . I know how you feel (remember a few weeks ago? ). Things like that are rough. Give yourself time to absorb it, talk it out, and once you are steadier, you'll be able to figure out the next step. :hugs:
