haha i went through your posts to find it. you didn't post a long review of it did you?
so it DOES work. cuz on amazon, it has some pretty bad reviews. how's the smell of burning hair? does it hurt? and the most important question: will it reduce desi hair density?

People are pagal. I went to go buy some chooriyan to match my outfit. And some plain glass bangles with glitter with 2 kharas were $35... thirty...freakin...five. The lady selling them was whack . Needless to say, I didn't buy them. They were way out of my price range or even desire to spend.

I didn't review it yet because you're not really supposed to see results before 6 weeks from my understanding. Honestly, I've only noticed int he past couple of days.

I did see all the reviews but a lot of them were just whining about lack of instant results. Sephora's website clearly states it's not meant to be a razor but a lot of the women were saying how they're legs are not smooth, etc... it's a treatment and it works in the long term.

It doesn't hurt. Sometimes it feels a bit warm, but it's not painful at all. You can smell the burning hair but you get used it and if the hair is short, the smell is not nearly as strong. And uh, if I had to put up with that smell for 30 mins 3 times a week in exchange for ingrown hairs, cuts, nicks, razors, paranoia about being hairy, shoot bring on the smell. It's a small price. Insha'Allah, if you guys want, I can post a more in depth review.

Salam, yes, and in depth review would be good. I'm looking into it myself too, though I'm unsure from all the mixed reviews.

Also, after you use it, how smooth is the skin from a scale of 1-10? Is it anything like waxing/shaving/whatever?
And can it be used all over the body?

Ok insha'Allah give me another week so I can get some school stuff out of the way and see better results and I'll post a review.

To answer your questions though, my skin is generally not smooth at all. I have to shave afterwards and it depends on how coarse the hair is that you're burning off. The super fine hairs, it's as smooth as a baby's butt, but if the thicker hairs like on your legs, maybe a 7.

It's not recommended to use on your face and beyond your bikini line and your breasts but I did use it anyway except for the last one and it was fine but I got a bit burnt on my face (more on that, tiny burn only the top layer of my skin, won't leave a scar, healed in about a week). But ya, I'll post more indepth next Thursday insha'Allah.

does "beyond your bikini line" mean it can be used there or not?

Man Salika... Now I want a No!No! Hehe . I had my underarms waxed today for the first time. Alhumdulillah, no bleeding! The woman first prepped the area with regular baby powder and after waxing, she used a this cool gel. I thought it was going to be really bad, but it wasn't as bad as getting my arms done, which is nothing in comparison to legs . However, I don't feel getting my legs done is that bad either...

how much does waxing (of legs) generally cost? most of the salons around me are kinda uppity, but there are some shady korean ones that might be cheaper (but somehow i doubt they know much about removing excess body hair )
