just out of curiosity, do your kids have the same last name as your hubby?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Yay Zakk, mubarak again!! lol, I agree it doesnt feel at all like you've been gone very long.. were you typing from the hospital bed?
----
So in other news I went out to dinner with my roommate and we had so much fun! We're super tired though and it sucked cuz we had to wait an hour but it was worth it...we went to a Turkish Mediterranean restaurant and when we first walked in they had a bellydancer (who by the way couldnt dance). We had ZABIHA lamb kababs Turkish-style ...but my friend said they taste better in Turkey...I guess I'll have to go again! (I wish )
Anyway.. still got a ton of friggin homework and we agreed that we should stay up til at least midnight (1 hr away) and study no matter how tired we are. One hour... one hour..

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
congrats to all the new babies and new preggers! People are already asking me when i'm having my next one.. give me a break One is more than I can handle at this current time.
Everyone in my household has different last names I kept my maiden name, and my toddler has my husband's first name as his last name.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
***I thought it was over, only to find out it began again......,,,...My mother is in excruciating pain for the past 2 days Her appointment was set for the 24th to extract a tooth thats causing her numbness and terrible pain in her head and surrounding teeth. Her cheek has blown up because of all the pain. Basically her right side of the head is killing her by doing this -->
And NO ONE is open for the weekend for an emergency like this I can't take her to the ER because they give a medication that shes allergic to and they won't take out the tooth. So my poor mum has to suffer till Monday to get that tooth out
We have been giving her different pain meds and its gets better for a while, but then it starts again. She's been crying and I can't see her like that
Please make dua'a that I find a dentist on Monday who does emergency tooth extraction and who accepts our insurance and my mother is finally relieved from all the horrible pain she's suffered, Inshallah ........I don't want this happening again.....

if you can't find someone to do the extraction asap on monday, call your local dental school. mine has an emergency clinic, extractions are done the same day. it sounds like she has an ongoing infection, which may need to be drained, the tooth extracted, and then she'd be put on antibiotics. infections spread..so I suggest you find someone on monday.
if she's allergic to a med the ER gave her, they'll give her something else.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Congrats zakk and Asvi!
zakk, you're crazy to be on islamica right now lol
sumiyia, i know you posted about this awhile back. i can't believe you like it!
i bought a 2-pack of the pink ones from target. IT MAKES ME SMELL LIKE PLAY-DOH!!! and i have TWO of them. i'm trying to get my brother to use it so it finishes faster.

plus it has a weird interaction with my deodrant and i smell like i sprayed perfume on sweat.
i don't know if anyone posted this. i searched in the thread.

it a hair removal device called no!no! and its sold by Sephora for $250.
basically burns your hair off. and this reduces hair density after a couple of months of usage.
i think i'll buy it after the recession.
on amazon, i think its rated 3 out of 5 stars by users.
here's a detailed review Sephora No!No! Review | distressedDERMA

I mentioned it a few weeks back. I did buy it and after about 6 weeks of use, I do see a difference in hair reduction. I can't wait till the 12 week mark!
