ok so im literally pissed off at myself. i studied all night last night, all day this morning, slept enough hours to have a fresh mind, ate a good meal, did eveyrthing that i coudl think of that goes under "how to take a test".....revised teh material over and over again and when i thought i was ready enough, revised it in a group study group aloud. everyone thought that "ooo man, shes gonna kill that test for sure!" i was LITERALLY the LAST one to walk outta that classroom and my study group was waiting outside the room for me....we reviewed the answers, and can u believe how much i hate myself? i dont understand why it is that i always end up bubbling in the right answer and then thinking its wrong somehow and bubbling in something else...i counted what i would probably end up making and its around a B. if i hadnt done my crazy stupid bubbling in right, then changing it stuff, i woulda easily made an A. i hate how i always do that. argh! i honestly feel like crying right now becuase i know i worked sooo hard on this one!
and to top it off, aroudn 8 pm today, my throat started to feel all scratchy and sore, and now my head hurts, and i feel nauseous......thanks to my dad for passing on his flu to me. cuz i feel the same right now.
:bad day:

i've actually read that it's impossible to shrink your pores. products might tighten them temporarily, but not permanently.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
they never check parking stickers at my apartment building...ever! i know this because there is never enough parking, and i do have a sticker. so today i had some friends over, and one of them stayed til about 4am...and they had towed her car! everyone else had left about an hour before her, so what the hell kind of tow truck driver makes rounds at 3am looking for cars with no stickers?! theyre charging her $245 to get her car back. i feel like crap cuz she was going to leave earlier but i forced her to stay longer cuz i wanted to talk to her and she wont even let me pay for half
and when i went to drop her off at home someone took my parking spot and i had to park behind a building waaay on the other side of the complex...i literally ran all the way to my apartment cuz it was late and i got scared
so annoying.
and i realize that was a really boring rant, and i apologize for subjecting you all to it next time i ramble, ill try to make it about something juicy

When you guys say "scars" why do you mean? If you mean hyperpigmentation, that goes away after a few months, just be patient If you're talking about little holes or whatever, you can fix it with laser, but I don't know if a known remedy otherwise. Perhaps you can try those prodeucts used for wrinkles which boost your callogen production and hence fill in skin areas but I'm not sure how those work on acne scars (or they even really work on wrinkles for that matter!)

I change my pillow cases almost on a daily basis. I might try the alcohol thing too. I'm also forever changing the washing detergent and stuff to see if that could be the cause. I mean if it were something else, I'd have the same on my left cheek too, no?
And no holes, alhamdulillah. Just the hyperpigmentation. The scars are pink and dotted in the same small area. And yeah, they take too long to go away! I've had some now for months and because they're a very different colour to my complexion, they stand RIGHT OUT.
I went to the pharmacy near where I work and the guy told me about something called Nixoderm or whatever. We don't get that here in the UK which leads me to wonder about it's suitability. There must be a reason why you can't get it here. Right?
If things don't improve, I might go see the doc. I just can't be bothered with the process.

Ya, sometimes our skin is triggered by the most unexpected insensitivities. Another thing to consider is your phone. Try disinfecting it before you use it as it rubs against your cheeck.
About Nixoderm, my guess as to why it's not sold in the UK is that it has hydroquonine in it, which has been banned in the UK since 2001. It's bad for your skin, can increase your chances of skin cancer and all it does is BLEACH your skin, it doesn't get rid of the actual problem. Also don't forget that anything you put on your skin gets absorbed into your blood stream (through the capillaries). I was tempted myself to get one of those products but then on the label it said to discontinue use after 3 months if you don't see any improvements. I couldn't help but to wonder the product would tell you to stop using it after 3 months if it has no adverse effects, right?
The best thing to do is find ways to speed of skin cell turnover. Rhetinoids (which are vitamin A derivatives, like retin-A, this is probably what the doc would give you) do this but I find rhetinoids to be too harsh on my skin and caused the worst breakout of my life. Vitamin A is still good for your skin, but be careful with it. Vitamin C helps with this, regular exfoliation (but not too often, once or twice a week), jojoba oil, shea butter, honey, and more I'm sure.
A lot of these products you can get from a natural food stores or even some of the upscale stores like Sephora, Ulta, or even sometimes GNC. In the last few months I experimented with several brands including neutrogena, oil of olay, aveeno, clearasil, and even a prescription and the best thing I'm finding is to be gentle and stick to more "natural" products like the ones I mentioned above. Hope that helps
ps: AMEEN!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
So yesterday I went to the mall, I bought a pretty shirt for $10 and I think I'll be able to wear it for a few months!
Also, I went to the este-lauder counter. Pregnancy hormones have caused some discoloration in my skin that I don't like. She gave me samples of this really sheer foundation that really helped even out my skintone. I came home and asked my husband what he thought. He said he couldn't tell I was wearing make-up, just that I looked a little "whiter" than usual. I think I might buy it.

that happened to my sister when she went to visit her friend.
her friend lives in an apartment complex in a nice neighborhood, and they've never had issues with cars being towed.
low and behold, on a random weekday afternoon (it was 5:30pm!), my sister's car got towed and it cost her $125 to get it out.
no matter how much she tried to get it waived or at least reduced, the tow truck ppl wouldn't budge. jerks.
who tows cars before dinner time anyway??!
so fatima, i know what you're saying
