Re: Female Personal Hygiene
acne - retin-A cream. i've been using it for about 4 months now and my skin is the clearest its ever been. it makes your pores shrink, too.
...then again. i've also been mia from islamica for 4 months. so maybe THATS the secret to great skin.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I had my eyebrows done earlier this week and Alhumdulillah, I'm completely satisfied. I haven't been happy with them for quite some time. The lady kind of cut me, but I guess it was all worth it.

Actually no, I didn't. I had/have a lot more to say than that, but I'll spare myself the headache.

Do the instructions say that you can epillate your face? I'd be too scared. Anyway, hopefully they are just irritation bumps and they'll go away soon, iA .

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
OMG. My coworker just called me and said that these patients said that they paid their bill - BEFORE being seen. They never gave me any money. And they actually told me that they would probably have a problem paying, since we weren't accepting credit cards at the moment. WTF? I can't stand liars and cheats. On top of all of that bs, we charge the patients after they have been seen by the doctor. And I think they were Muslim, unless they were pretending that they were - they were wearing hijab and speaking in Arabic.

I used the no!no! on my face though the instructions say you should not. I read online reviews of other women using it and nobody has had a problem. It's wonderful
I've tried tweezing my face but my face turns funny colors after while from irritatation. Sometimes people think I got bruised or beat up

I've noticed though, I have to use my Simple facial cleansing wipes everyday to keep new spots from forming. But that doesn't get rid of the scars. My face doesn't like being introduced to too many chemicals either so it's so hard to find a moisturiser that won't make things worse.
It must have something to do with the fact that I sleep on my right side. There can be no other explanation, from what I can see.

I spray my pillows with alcohol every night before sleep now.
When you guys say "scars" why do you mean? If you mean hyperpigmentation, that goes away after a few months, just be patient If you're talking about little holes or whatever, you can fix it with laser, but I don't know if a known remedy otherwise. Perhaps you can try those prodeucts used for wrinkles which boost your callogen production and hence fill in skin areas but I'm not sure how those work on acne scars (or they even really work on wrinkles for that matter!)

Salika: share more about the alcohol thing. Have you noticed a difference just from that?
