I need ideas for my wedding anniversary please. I'm already goin on a vacation in mid May to Florida/Bahamas but that's w/friends. We won't have any intimate time w/eachother

i vote if its not too late, to cancel with the friends. i honestly think its a really not so great way to spend a wedding anniversary.

i think id rather get a local hotel suite alone for a couple days then go on vacation to somewhere like that with other people! its supposed to be a special time for the two of you, not for the two of you and then some

just my personal opinion though!!

if you cant cancel, you can always get separate rooms, or spend an entire day apart? im sure the other couple wants alone time just as much as you. so make the most of it

aww thanks heba, but i can't cancel the vacation and i know we will not have alone time or a diff. room, since we have already talked about it. so everything is outta the question. So i really do wanna do something for our anniverary, jst me and him. I was thinking something local, maybe getting massages together and after that do dinner at a fancy restaurant or something.
Last year i did hot air ballooning it was fun and we also went away somewhere too.

By getting massages together, do you mean you're both in the same room while getting massaged? Because I think that would be a little weird. Maybe it's just me.

Ya, if you want alone time, you really don't need to travel too far. Sometimes the best experiences are the most simple. Maybe go to a neighboring city of a weekend near a beach, take hikes together, go bike riding, picnics.

If a woman massaged him it'd be haraam, and if it were a man...you wouldn't be able to get a massage due to awrah issues.

Jumping is fun. Plus, if someone really really lights jumps on your back, it might feel good and put your back in and stuff.

my dad would make us stand on his back and like walk slowly all over it when we were younger as his daily after work "massage". he still asks us to do that sometimes but for some reason, now, he makes us get off just as fast after letting out a whopper of a yelp.

Friends of ours did a couples massage at a spa and had dinner there afterwards for their anniversary. I'm pretty sure you're all covered up with warm towels etc so there aren't really issues.
