Great, now I want chocolate

Just kidding
hehehe

I really do want chocolate. We went to Macys yesterday and my bil got us some Fango chocolates. I looooove them but they're gone b/c the hubby and I finished them in the first day . I want some Twix, Ferrero Rochere and twizzlers right now.. junk fooood!

I got my hair colored. It was supposed to be light honey brown with blonde wispy strands on top but it looks...odd. It's kinda orange on top. I went to my roommate's stylist and I hated it...and my roommate showed me her hair and hers is slightly orange on top too. What a dumb stylist. I'm never gonna cheat on mine again!

Is your hair a warm color (brownish reddish)? When I dyed my hair blonde, my stylist told me that if the stylist does not use a toner, it'll turn brassy. Also, generally, if you're a warm color and go blonde, over time it turns brassy. You need violet to balance it and it'll go back to blonde. She recommended this shampoo that has violet in it. The one I bought from ulta is from "color me sexy" and the type is "violet mood." It was like 14 bucks, not too bad.

Thanks for the tips but I'm too skeptical about trying anything at home. First and last time I did that is what got my hair 3 different shades in the first place. The girl that did my hair today offered to do free highlights if I come back within 3 days (not sure why) and I'm thinking I will take her up on her offer, maybe it will balance the top out a bit. Hey, its free right? Blah.

Well, the shampoo is not really for dying your hair but rather just to maintain the color between salon visits. Ask the lady you're going to now about it. Even if she fixes it, it may start to turn brassy (like mine) in a few weeks anyway and the shampoo would help maintain. Good luck Believe you me, I feel your pain!

Timbit - NO idea why. It's like they'll sell the card applicators but not the plastic ones?!
because they're concerned about the environment

I was in a fender bender today . Alhumdulillah, Allah hu Akbar, I'm okay, the other person is okay. My car is okay and his car was okay. Things could have been really ugly, but the guy was cool and he kind of took responsibility for it, but still.

Alhumdulillah times a million.

One of my friends sends me a Hadith everyday on Facebook. I thought I'd share since it relates to pregnancy, and Alhumdulillah, so many FPHers are pregnant, mA.

Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Book 77:
Volume 8, Book 77, Number 594:

Narrated Anas bin Malik:
The Prophet said, "Allah puts an angel in charge of the uterus and the angel says, 'O Lord, (it is) semen! O Lord, (it is now ) a clot! O Lord, (it is now) a piece of flesh.' And then, if Allah wishes to complete its creation, the angel asks, 'O Lord, (will it be) a male or a female? A wretched (an evil doer) or a blessed (doer of good)? How much will his provisions be? What will his age be?' So all that is written while the creature is still in the mother's womb."

sometimes i wonder if this is still worth all the trouble. and if it's actually going anywhere.

over time, that idealized image slowly shatters... and things turn out not quite as perfectly as they once seemed in your blissful fantasies. in fact, they might not even be acceptable anymore.

i hate it when my parents end up being right...

idealizing people is never fun. it's like being in a fog and at some point or another they're going to disappoint you majorly and it'll be like a knife through the fog

not cute

i hope things work out
