Like I said, I wouldn't hesitate to answer questions or share info with a cousin or sister or close friend (IF they were getting married soon).
Otherwise, information like this usually does more harm than good.....if you know what I mean .

Some people don't have moms, sisters or doctors they can talk to. I thought FPH was about love anyway... forums are great 'cause people can still be anonymous, as evidenced by lots of posts on Islamica. People are curious; I don't think only married people or soon-to-be-married people have the right to be asking questions about sex.

I'm just saying..why ask? we have access to neverending info online. anything you could ever want to know about sex (and quite a bit you might not have ever wanted to know) can be found.

Oh... yeah, I already said I got most of my knowledge about it from reading. But some people don't read.

 It's true. Like unmarried people.
But you can't say that if they don't know about it, they shouldn't have it. I mean, 'cause they do anyway... but that's how unplanned pregnancies and STDs and stuff happen, 'cause people are so misinformed. I think unmarried Muslims should be educated about these things, so they can use their knowledge when they're married.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
They did. I'm not saying people are going to be unable to have sex (though I've heard about that too ) but they might end up having bad sex (he doesn't know what to do to make her happy and she doesn't know either or she doesn't know how to tell him). Or their lack of knowledge can cause other problems. It's surprising but in the modern day, there are many misconceptions about it. The guy might think she wasn't a virgin 'cause she didn't bleed, say. Hymen reconstruction is increasingly popular in Muslim countries and that's pretty sad.
Muslims always talk about how sex-positive Islam is but it doesn't seem that way in a lot of Muslim societies.
Anyway, I think we're derailing FPH? Back to...uhhh...tampons? Hair removal?

I don't think anyone said that people close to marriage shouldn't read such things? Maybe I missed it. Sex education is obv necessary for everyone, but to a certain degree (i think) unless they're close to getting married, i don't think teenage girls/boy need even more harami things to ponder on
anyway.
You know these don't have normal tampons in Saudi?!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Oh, also: I don't know anybody who asks questions like that from people they don't even know (that's kinda weird ), but if you guys are getting that and you feel they're asking more for the titillation factor and not out of a genuine need to know, then you're well within your rights to shut them down, of course.
Zzze: Hmmm. Okay, I'm going to try to understand your point of view.
For now, I'm done talking about it.
Why don't they have regular tampons in Saudi?
