Yeahh, the peace and the contentment experienced during salah (especially ruku and sujood) is simply unparalleled. Alhamdulillah for Islam.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
cramps x not 1 million but maybe like 900,000?
just kidding.
It escalates. It starts off crampy and then gets more intense. Like a big squeeze. You can't talk or even think sometimes. Each time, there's been a point where I've told my husband "okay, I really can't do this, let's go home." (usually during transition, right before it is actually time to push) But it's really exciting too, because it's not just pain, it's like something really vital and amazing is happening, and your body is a part of it.
I like epidurals. Because the pain just tires me out, and you don't know when the pain will end.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Lol, it's kind of awesome how Allah made pregnancy as this extensive time of preparing to have a baby, and at the end you're so ready to get the baby out that it doesn't seem as big of a deal, more like just another element of the whole process. And then you forget all about the pain of labor until you get pregnant again and then it's too late.

Local Maryland Islamicans; plus a couple of Islamicans that got married and moved away. One of the girls was a mod, but I can't remember her screen name (I love her and her sister ). None of them post much except for Saadz and she rarely posts anymore .

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
As time goes on, I'm appreciating more and more that I'll actually be going to the place I really, really, really wanted to go. Alhamdulillah. I hope they love me as much as I loved them.
But that doesn't make my medicine rotation go any better. Friday night call sucks, especially when your resident gives you two admissions at the time you're supposed to be leaving. For the second straight time.
