Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I have my monthly appointment tommorow. I have so much anxiety about it, I dont' know why. I've not had any bad signs or symptoms, other than I didn't gain weight this month for some reason. She only wanted me to gain 1-2 lbs anyway, so if I didn't gain weight it shouldn't be that bad right?

No, it's not bad. Lots of women actually even lose weight the first trimester. It's okay because the baby takes what it needs from your body. Just make sure you are getting the right nutrients and stuff, otherwise you yourself will feel depleted.

We're at 16 weeks now, we're out of the first trimester.

It should still be okay... I think you said you're overweight. It's alright to gain on the lower end of the "good" range throughout your pregnancy if you start overweight, provided that whatever you gain is a steady increase. don't worry.
I actually lost 12 pounds in the beginning through the start of my second trimester.

that's SO interesting.. i always wonder why the weight loss happens..cuz isnt the body supposed to hang on to whatever it possibly can for the baby?
what is the explanation for the weight loss? is it just cuz of morning sickness/throwing up?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Okay, seems like pretty much all the married ladies are pregnant, but for those of you who aren't: what form of birth control are you using, if any? PM me if you wan't want to share your answer.
I was talking to my aunt and told her she should go on the pill for her acne, but she said her IUD works fine (but might be causing the acne). I was like "Ew... an IUD is way more involved than I'd wanna be in the process." 'Cause you gotta get it fitted and all. And she was like nothing is gross or too involved once you've had two kids. That's her answer to everything.
EDIT: Also, epilators are the suck 'cause they hurt so much (I can handle underarms, but not legs... ow ow ow) and yoga is the best. Don't see why you'd get a credit for it though, unless you're in Phys Ed or something.
