oh my gosh ME TOO!! Nobody else will tell me for sure but my hubby's sposed to be coming tomorrow on a 6 am flight ...at least according to my sister. I actually got out the wax but it never works for me so I whipped out the epilator and gave myself a lovely backache sitting on the sink for 2 hours. I got used to it on the legs...it's the underarms that huuurrrt
Salika, I have ingrown hair problems when i epilate too. Sanuri posted in here a coupla days ago with advice to use a pumice stone and scrub ur legs (before shaving) so I did that before epilating, and lightly after. I dunno yet if it works but inshallah..

kind of a bummer though bc i think my pain tolerance with things like waxing, threading, and epilating went to crap after i got married, lol. but still gotta suck it up and do it.

i always wondered if topical anaesthetic could help with the pain?

yeah they sell a product called pre-kini for that. its got benzocaine in it. or you can go to the doc and get a script for some lidocaine gel or something.

ohh so that "add 5 lbs for every inch over 5 feet for ideal weight" is sometimes true! i'm 5'4 and found that everytime i dipped below 125, my hair would fall and skin would be dry and flaky. not to say i'm exactly 125 at the moment hellllllo elliptical machine!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
^ lol... yea i'm a little TOO "healthy" right now... but not that far off!
in other news... i'm at starbucks right now.. and i'm supposed to be studying.
question... do any of you hijabi ladies ever just wear a hoodie and not wear a hijab under it? i've done it a few times and i've got to say... the reactions i get while wearing hijab vs. wearing a hoodie... it's like night and day! people are actually friendly when i'm wearing a hoodie, and they don't do double takes or anything.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
onetsp I found that happens too. When i was around 130 I used to lose hair too and would feel weak all the time and it wasn't because I starved myself. When I work out I tend to go overboard and lose track and despite eating like a pig I still lose too much weight. I've started working out again...let's hope it doesnt happen this time.
anyone else notice drastic changes in the chest area? If my weight is too low my chest gets pretty flat too . When I gained 10 lbs, like 1.5 - 2 cup sizes came with it

My sister does it all the time. I would think it might get hot, does it? Do you wear an undercap under yours?
