Ya that was quite tragic.....I mean you would expect the bearded one to get punished, but it just kinda reversed onto the one in U.S. While watching, I even thought that since the guy was being somewhat nice to his wife, she might even start liking him and it would turn out ok, but noooooooooo! Poor girl had to suffer

I'm glad she didn't talk to her dad in the end and I'm appalled that his "girlfriend" even stayed with him! The maulvi who came to the stand in the end was totally awesome though and I looooooove Iman Ali, I didnt expect her to be in the movie

The maulvi at the end was Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah
And every time that preacher came (forgot his name) to the bearded guy to show what was right and wrong, I couldn't help but laugh.....I dont know why, but I found him funny. And then at the end, when he gets furious because while he's trying to preach a new bunch, the bearded guy comes and kinda makes fun of him in front of everyone!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
assalamu alaykum
i'm watching desperate housewives (AGAIN, until more episodes come out) the episode where daniel attends the fancy dress party as her mother is hysterical. Karen, the old lady dressed up as a witch approached daniel.
Karen: Daniel, who are you supposed to be?
daniel: really,Karen, I don't think the good Lord is amused when we make light of witchcraft....and you might use a coaster

in other news... this one brother at ucla passed away this week. he was a senior, got a 38 on the MCAT, accepted to med schools like all over, and had a really bright future ahead of him. only 22 years old. apparently his frat brothers dared him to swim in a covered pool... he suffocated/drowned.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajioon . Isn't hazing illegal everywhere [now]? I'm curious to know what action will be taken, if any.

Sisters, please make dua. The wife of a friend of ours has been going really nuts for a few years now. She refuses treatment and is seriously delusional and paranoid, thinking people are spying on her and so forth. She took the baby, and left her husband abruptly. We have to write letters stating all the strange things she's done or said. Please make dua that the judge listens, gives the father custody, and makes this woman get treatment.
You just wonder what she could be thinking to do such a thing
|
Damn. I hope, iA, she gets treatment soon .

I love Desperate Housewives. Bree is one of my favorite characters. She's so psychotically perfect. I can't stand Dana Delany. She's such a frigid cow!

I would, it sucks working with people who you don't get along with after you've tried to resolve the situation.
