He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with
extra fries and a chocolate shake.

Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy,
M&M's. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled home with her
husband and collapsed into bed exhausted. He leaned over his wife with a big
smile and lovingly asked, "Well Dear, what was it like being six
again?"

Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed. "I meant my
dress size!"

MORAL: Even when a man is listening, he is gonna get it wrong.

i'm also having knee problems... i should probably go get it checked out though. it hurts like CRAZY when i bend my knees, especially my right knee. it felt better after i went hiking but now all the pain is back. sometimes it gets so bad that i can't pray normally either and have to be sitting in a chair.

salaams pretty ladies!! wow, havent been here in toooo long. i havent talked to anyone either!! what the hellllllll.
doesnt seem like you guys have really missed me though :P

anyway..thought id stop by and say hello. hope everyone is doin well. and gettin ready for school!!! i start on thursday, and im actually pretty exciting. it has been an exhausting 2 weeks, my sister and her husband are down from dubai so we have been busy as hell lately. school will be a nice break lol.

Hi guys. I'm feeling frustrated. I have to go to a baby shower and i don't want to go. I was asked to make a cake and I suck at making and decorating occasion cakes. But I made it anyway and on one hand I hate it because it doesn't look all smashing like a bakery cake and is kind of not flat and on the other hand my husband likes it and says who the heck are they to criticise a cake they asked me to make because it's not like I volunteered to make it. And anyway I hate when people ask me to make something and then place all sorts of requirements on it; just fork out the $$$ and get a bakery cake.

yeah, maybe I will. I already have baby shower issues with my in-laws since they never threw one for me even when they throw one for pretty much everyone else in the family. I'm traumatized

Mashallah your cake is really beautiful. I can see why they ask you to make cakes. Your cake is 12908389798623186281972983018207396865375427365 times better than anything I could have made, and I've been making cakes since I was a teenager.

It's sank down. It happens when you add too much butter and cream. You decided to go it alone and deviate from the cookbook rules...that's what you get you rebel. There's a way you can fix it, but i can't remember what my sister said.

You could just say that your daughter or son made it. Then they'll think "aww cute" instead of ribbing you for it.
