So ladies, I have this amazing tahara book, and Im not sure i want to dedicate an entire thread to it. Its an islamic book in regards to feminine hygiene. I think we could all use more knowledge, iA. So I think I might post tidbits in this thread every now and then.

Sounds interesting. What's the name of the book?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
My friend came over after my last class and my sister has been here since Wed (it was her break this week, mine's next week) and they're both asleep on the couches. I'm gonna go sleep now too

If I could marry a guy like my dad, I'd consider myself very, very lucky.

That completely sucks! I'm so sorry they did that to you . InshAllah, you'll find a good job at a place that really appreciates you.
Since, you live in NoVa, I was think that we should plan a dinner/lunch date or something considering I am your "neighbor" and we're kind of sort of barely related .

Sounds like a cool book. Where did you get it from? And how can someone else get it if they wanted to?

What's disgusting about it?
My dad has a great personality, some of which I've gotten from him. So if I could find a guy like that, we'd be compatible, I think.
My dad is friendly and outgoing and doesn't have anger management/temper control issues. He exudes warmth and he's the person you go to solve your problems. Like, if I ever need anything, my dad's the first person I go to. He also has morals and is good to his wife and kids.
The only thing I don't like about my dad is how he does things on his own time. I'll call him to come pick me up and he'll be like "Okay, I'll be there in 10 minutes" but that really means 40. Drives me crazy.
My mom's awesome too. Less outgoing/social than my dad, but she's opinionated and never shy to give her view on things. Very blunt and honest and straightfoward. And she cares a lot about her husband and kids.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
The fit has finally hit the shan.
It's been flying around for a while now, so it was inevitable.
I went to the chief resident and had a chat with him about all the crap that's been happening with my team at the hospital. This morning was the worst. I yelled at (well, yelled for me, which is like slightly raising my voice ) at my intern, and I actually had to make a big effort not to break down in sobs of anger and frustration at the nurses' station.
Alhamdulillah, the chief was very sympathetic and even said "do you think you can make it through the weekend with them?" I think he might have been a little surprised that I made it this long.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I'm SO HAPPY!!! I just got my midterm results and I got a really good grade on a test I didn't study for! I rarely show up for the class and when I do I usually end up falling asleep. Alhamdulilah (yes I know I'm a horrible student, I'm gonna stop slacking I swear)
