Re: Female Personal Hygiene
To Be 6 Again...
A man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife, looking at
herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off he asked what
she'd like to have for her Birthday.
"I'd like to be six again", she replied, still looking in the mirror.
On the morning of her Birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of
Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme park. What a day!
He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the
Screaming Monster Roller Coaster, everything there was.
Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling
and her stomach felt upside down.
He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with
extra fries and a chocolate shake.
Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy,
M&M's. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled home with her
husband and collapsed into bed exhausted. He leaned over his wife with a big
smile and lovingly asked, "Well Dear, what was it like being six
again?"
Her eyes slowly opened and her expression suddenly changed. "I meant my
dress size!"
MORAL: Even when a man is listening, he is gonna get it wrong.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Wedding Anniversary
A married couple in their early 60's were out celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary in a quiet, romantic little restaurant. Suddenly, a tiny yet beautiful fairy appeared on their table and said,
"For being such an exemplary married couple and for being faithful to each other for all this time, I will grant you each a wish."
"Ooh, I want to travel the world with my darling husband" said the wife. The fairy moved her magic stick and -abracadabra! - Two tickets for the new QM2 luxury liner appeared her hands.
Now it was the husband's turn. He thought for a moment and said: "Well this is all very romantic, but opportunities like this only occur once in a lifetime, so I'm sorry my love, but my wish is to have a wife 30 years younger than me".
The wife and the fairy were deeply disappointed, but a wish is a wish.
So the fairy made a circle with her magic stick and abracadabra! The husband became 92 years old.
MORAL: Men who are ungrateful bastards should remember fairies are female.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I'm so tired of my legs hurting. I'm so tired of comming home from work or therapy and not being able to do anything. I don't want to take pain killers. I just don't know what to do to make things better. I'm so frustrated.

I don't know, and I don't think anyone else knows what really wrong with them either. Maye it's a bunch of different problems.
1) my legs aren't stragith. My parents could easily have fixed this with a very minor surgery when I was 10-11, or put me in leg braces for a while, but a lot happened when I was 10-11, and I think my parents were more concerned with their divorce than with me. About that same time, I broke a bone in my foot too, and they didn't take me to the doctor for that for a whole month. By the time I saw the doctor for the broken bone, it had healed badly.
2) The groove where my kneecap attaches to the femur is shallow to non-existant. That means that my kneecap doesn't track properly when I bed my knee.
3) I'm hyperflexible. All my joints are too flexible, including my spine. While that means I can do cool things like bend backwards until my lower back is about 90 degrees, it also means I hyperextend my knees naturally.
According to the MRI and the orthopedic surgeon I saw in Idaho, the combination of 1, 2, and 3 made my knees wear out super early. The underside of my kneecaps are damaged, so it hurts when I do anything. I can't say my prayers in the "normal" way, I have to sit. Things like that.
What's strange is that the whole thing started very suddenly. Last May my husband and I performed Umrah. That is very physical. YOu are walking constantly, praying a lot, actually performing Umrah, doing ziyarat. In our hotel the elevator didn't work to the first floor, so I was going up and down stairs several times a day. No problem. No pain. I came home and no problem either. About a month after comming home, in the span of a week I developed this debilitating pain in my left knee particularly, but also my right knee, that basically imobilized me. I couldn't bend my knees, couldn't stand, couldn't walk. So, I don't know.
My current Physical Therapist is also a little confused becuase she thinks that the combination of 1,2, and 3 shouldn't give me the amount of pain and disability I have right now. I don't know. I have better insurance now, so maybe they will be more thorough about seeing what the problem is. Who can tell.
In the meantime I had to change my whole life around.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
xDDDD I was with the man! Actually, I'd like to be five years old again. ^^; I'd just be happy that he was so sweet, even if he got confused. xD;
The wedding anniversary one... dang. xD
I'm so sorry, ChotooMotoo.
The joints in my shoulder and elbow make 'em act and look like they're dislocated sometimes, but they're really not. It scares people. xD;
My older brother could bend his elbow the wrong way too.
