Re: Female Personal Hygiene
So when I asked my cousinw hat she wanted from here hse specifically said anything Playboy(the brand). I tried telling her reppin the bunny wasn't cool. But she didn't get it and that was kinda the only thing she wanted....what do you guys think of the merchandise that has the bunny on it?!

Reprehensible. It's pretty disgusting that young girls are encouraged to wear a symbol that represents the objectification of women. I personally wouldn't get it for her, it has trashy written all over it. Get her a nice Qur'an instead

@ vulgar. Reminded me of Brode and Prejudice.
Yea plus I can't find any stores that sell it. Though I must confess Bakers had the AWESOMEST shoe. No bunny on it. Nothing, just ULTRA secksay!

iIm naturally a recluse, it was hard enough living with my family so to think about living with another is crazy. I can't be myself with my husband around other people, even innocent like talking to him is a problem, I just don't understand how people do it, but I'm happy for people who it works out for. The thing is, you never know what's around the corner, so it's pointless stressing about it insha Allah (unless u have a mil from hell) as it may never happen.
Ishi- i bought something really nice from a dept. store and only realised it was a playboy thin when i got home lol, it's nice though alahmdulilah. Generally their stuff is very tacky and what it represents is disgusting and demeaning and I have no idea why girls would have playbou pencils or folders, why are they promoting such a thing?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
i've done both and prefer living in my own place.
there's no fronting with your behavior or habits.. like if i want to sleep in until 2pm one day bc i'm just really tired then i can without feeling horribly guilty. or if dinner is turkey sandwiches and pringles for two days straight, i can do that without feeling like a bad wife. i think it just depends on how you were raised as well... some girls were raised to adapt very-well to a joint family system and some weren't. i grew up in a very nuclear family system, where we had many relatives nearby that we saw daily, but everyone had their own place. even my grandmothers prefer to have their own small apartment nearby rather than live with their sons up and until they aren't physically able to.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Man I'm craving a cookie or sweets or something I just want something sweet and fluffy but I'm scared if I eat it I'll feel guilty because I feel like I'm gaining weight even though i'm probably not and I really need to go to the gym.
I feel so fat right now but mostly because I'm so neauseas and I feel like eating will help it (I dont know why).. ya, I want the neausea to go away
Maybe it's the pill I'm taking, I should probably start taking it at night instead.
I haven't had a cake in a long time I'm gonna have a piece, I've been so good. I mean all I had today was 2 small bowls of raisin bran and a tofurky sandwhich with some almonds, that's not a lot... right?
I need to go the gym, that's going to be the only thing to make me feel unfat, no matter what I eat. I also decided to stay in the library until I finish 85% of my appellate brief (so like 10 pages?) It's due the Wed after spring break but I don't want to work on it during spring break
ok I'll shut up now..

Albeit living with the in-laws isn't the most ideal situation, think about how many duaas you will be getting from them. And other people like your inlaws' friends, will probably say nice things about you too and make duaa for you. Think about how it makes your sister-in-law look - the one they don't want to stay with . Think about how much your husband will appreciate it. I know now you've had your "taste" of freedom (living without the inlaws) and it feels like you're regressing with them coming to live with you, but inshAllah it will help them grow closer to you and strengthen your marriage, iA .

i didn't expect his shirt to be this comfy.
i mean, i did have a hunch that it might be, but not this much...
er, i mean :loveshirt:
i just had an evil thought, which is as follows:
"with some less unnecessary censorship, the first sentence could be like totally haraamishcandalicious. "
