assalamu alaykum
I don't think you should feel guilty about not wanting to live with ur in laws. I don't want to and I had to make that clear due to pressue being mounted on to live with them and in the END everyone got the message, alhamdulilah (alhamdulilah)!

Thanks everyone
even though i've already expressed my feelings to my hubby, i wont get to live on my own because that would harm my marriage, and i'm not gonna let some stupid thing like that ruin my relationship w/my hubby cuz i love him too much to lose him. so i'd live w/ my inlaws if it comes to that. my MIL has already told me that she'd rather live w/me than her other DIL.. so i have no choice. sad i know. sometimes it sucks to be really nice. lol

Hmm, I come from a huge family, and most of us all live together back in the homeland. (But we have huge homes there too...I guess that makes a major difference in terms of privacy and stuff)
But I just wanted to say that you might be pleasantly surprised. Living with a family has many, many perks. Typically, everyone supports one another, there's division of chores/expense, and too many other things to name.
Just walk into it with a smile.
InshAllah it all works out for you.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Well, I took the exam. It was really hard. I for sure mised 6 points, becuase I couldn't answer the questions in the alloted time. I don't feel that bad though, becuase a) I'm really confident about my other answers b) lots of people couldn't even finish. So, I'm hoping that in the end I get a B in the class.

I did it in a swimming pool when I took swimming lessons as a kid. It can be really difficult to do, becuase you have to convince yourself that it's okay to breath, even though your face is under water.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I was away at my parents' for the past 2 weeks and got back on Monday. We'd had a bit of a tiff over the phone the day before and I was still partially angry at him. Anyway, he couldn't meet me at the station as usual because he was teaching classes all day, so I made my own way and arrived home around 3pm. I was intending to cook him a nice dinner for the evening to make up for being mad at him before, but when I got home I found that dinner was already cooked so all I had to do was reheat it when he came in
Another time, I don't know how this rates on the 'cute' scale but anyway: He always walks to and from work, and with the Scottish weather being so unpredictable he always wears this waterproof jacket like the type mountain climbers wear, and sometimes the waterproof pants too. One particularly stormy evening I answered the door to find him up to his eyeballs in waterproofs, with just the blank reflection of his rain-spattered glasses staring back at me, looking for all the world like something out of a slasher movie...with a bunch of flowers in his hand. It was soooo random - and sweet, I suppose, in a way - I just didn't know whether to laugh or cry, or run away screaming
