if I had to have a wedding, I'd go with that one just for the sheer lack of seriousness.

What do you snack on? I've cut out chocolate and fizzy drinks from my diet for a week to see how much of a difference i feel, so now instead of snacking on chocolate, i'll snack on a kiwi, or a carrot or something

I love skimmed milk . I hate full fat milk, I find it too creamy to drink alone, but its fine putting smaller amounts in tea or something.
I love seeded wholgrain or malted wheat bread. But my brother's being a cheapo these days and buying smaller flavourless wholemeal bread. But it turns out good in a way, cuz it tastes way too bland to have with just margerine so I have it with peanut butter which is healthier. (sugar free pb). And also I dont end up having that much bread anymore cuz the one we get tastes so boring.
Apart from friut and veg, low cal snacks are stuff like ricecakes, crackerbread, corncakes, watercrackers...maybe with Philadelphia light soft cheese.
I need to start working out again. My size 12 trousers that were too big for me fit me again . But I'm too lazy. But summer hols coming up so I should have plenty of time then, plus it'll be hot and i'll be more thirsty than hungry. then winter/uni will roll around again and i spend the year putting the weight back on .

I've got plenty of fat on me and I'm still usually colder than the rest of my family!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Blessings are taken away if a believer isn’t grateful for them.
Alhamdulilah for everything.
To delve a little further into that thought. If we were to be shown all the food we've eaten since day one, every grain of rice, every cute little chicken, every article of clothing, every brick that sheltered us....how many mountains would there be? and how many mountains of shukr do we have in comparison?

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I really don't get why everyone is complaining about DST - seriously. I don't use an alarm on the weekends. I just wake up whenever I want to, so I guess may be that's why its not a big deal to me .

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I'm going for a haircut . My hair is already pretty short, but I need a trim and some layers. Several months back, I opted to have my long hair chopped into a chic little bob. Anyway, hopefully this new person (my friend is taking me to her stylist) won't mess up my cut, iA. I miss Hakkan , but I really can't afford to drop $65 right now on a haircut.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I need a haircut too, but I have no time to get one! and I refuse to go to the desi salon so she can over-charge me for nothing. My cousin said she went to this institute here (aveda) and they cut, styled and did everything for 15 bucks! I would soo go there but it's kinda far from my house and appointment is required (my schedule sucks). but iA I will somehow drag someone with me and go!

I spend an arm and a leg on my haircuts too. I've had some really hideous ones in the past. You know, where you tell the stylist an inch and they take off 5 instead. I can't stand that. Hakkan is/was the only person that listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. I remember leaving the salon and everyone was coming up to me saying how hot my hair looked - total strangers. LOL. It was a bit weird, but nice nonetheless. Oh well, Alhumdulillah for this new person who doesn't charge so much.
DST = Daylight Savings Time. You know that whole spring an hour forward, fall an hour back etc.
