Lucky butt! If I were you I'd do it just in case...just think, if it IS closed tomorrow you can then sleep all day knowing you have your hw done.

Speaking of hw I'm doing a 2 page double-spaced paper on various aspects of Luther's introduction to his New Testament translation. HOW. BORING. I wanna get done so I at least get 4 hours of sleep but it feels like I might as well be asleep now I'm so tired..

I cant wait to go home tomorrow for the weekend

I haven't cried like that in years. May Allah (swt) grant her a healthy recovery and give patience and strength to her parents and family.

A sincere request from me to everyone: Kindly, please make a dua'a for my mother and father's health and their well being. They are physically and mentally tired and not well

That's really funny because in Saudi, my husband found that they hated Egyptians the most. My husband doesnt have a high opinion of Saudis or Egyptians, he said the first group are full of pervs and the second full of dishonest, mean people

. Personally I know a few pretty nice Egyptians...

Come to think of it, out of everyone who's had babies or is having them this year, I haven't heard of anyone having boys yet... That's 6 out of 10 people who I know have had/are having girls this year.

Come now, let's not descriminate. Let's just say that all Arabs suck, the same way we say that all Pakistani's suck, and the French all suck. Hey, why stop there. Let's just go all the way and say that ALL people suck. The world is full of pervy, mean, self-centered, selfish, self-righteous, controlling, insane, cruel, dishonest, and corrupt people (sorry if I left out a negative attribute, it is 8am afterall).

Well like I've alluded to before, I'm more interested in having a family than working. I wouldn't mind, and would actually prefer, putting my career on hold for my family. That being said, I still think it's important for women to hold degrees (not saying the article or anyone said otherwise, but just to be clear).

My mother stopped school when my younger brother and I were really young but went back to school and started working when my two younger siblings were young. I can totally see a difference not only with my own relationship to my mother but the relationshp between my younger siblings and my mother after she went back to school and started working. Her time and energy was very limited for us and she had to prioritize of course how she spent it... so it was spent on regulating/disciplining us (by disciplining us, I don't mean punish, but rather just regulating us, making sure we do our homework, clean our room, etc).

When when my younger brother and I talk about the way mom used to play with us, my younger 2 siblings are always like "mom never did that with us."

What I hope to do insha'Allah is finish my JD, pass the bar, have babies then when I find myself bored at home I can work part-time or something then when the kids are grown up I can focus more on work. So I don't lose my information, I can still read, write, and research in my spare time and fulfull my CLE's (continuing legal education- mandatory program for lawyers).

Ya, so that's what I think
