Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I don't really eat that much, so why am I so chubby in certain areas? My breakfast is really small. Just a light snack and milk (which is what fills me up). I don't have lunch, and my dinner isn't a big portion at all. I don't monitor my food intake at all lol. I just get full really fast, alhamdulillah. I do snack though. But is it really going to have that much of an impact??

It could be your metabolism? do you exercise? Snacking could be the reason behind it if you eat like chips and soda etc

assalamu alaykum
it depends, do you drink full-fat milk and white bread, etc? Those could make a big difference. I managed to get mr.z to start liking the really healthy grainy brown bread, but im yet to get him to move away from full fat milk.
What do you snack on? I've cut out chocolate and fizzy drinks from my diet for a week to see how much of a difference i feel, so now instead of snacking on chocolate, i'll snack on a kiwi, or a carrot or something

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Ooh I love kiwis! I've gone down to 1% milk (sometimes 2%) but my husband is crazy about skim
Try the Yoplait yoghurts that come in serving size cups. They're really good and awesome for when you just want to eat something and not really hungry

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
my problem entails with my lack of self control with my midnight meals...i eat next to nothing, snacks during the day..but at late night/midnight i enjoy my warm meals.. ..thats my full lunch/dinner time..and there's nothing i can do to change it..and im too "programmed" with this schedule to change things...
and really...i could care less..heck fat keeps me warm during the winter..hat in itself is a blessing.
grapes are sour.

I drink 1% milk. I won't eat anything but white bread. I just recently started drinking sodas regularly. Before, it was like once a month but now its maybe once a week? I can easily cut that out, but I don't think its much of a problem since I've been like this for years. I snack on chips, candy, cookies... anything that tastes good lol. But I don't over do it, thats the thing.

hmm... do you read labels? you never know... one snack might be giving you thousands of extra calories. I'd try cutting it down to one unhealthy snack per week

a week? I could never lol.
I'm not overweight or anything, alhamdulillah, just not proportional. I heard exercises that target certain areas don't work so I thought maybe if my diet could help target certain areas. But every time I improve my eating habits, I lose the weight off places that I don't need to. I start to lose it from my face and upper body and it makes me look sick. My bones start to pop out. I'm beginning to think genetics has something to do with it. Its just how my body is. But alhamdulillah for it

Do you work out? Perhaps we're already at that age where our metabolism is slowing down and we can't eat what we want without noticing a change in our weight
Maybe if you cut out the snacks you'll notice a difference?
I lost an entire 14lbs when i went home from uni last summer, which meant i was no longer eating take aways everyday and eating chocolate/ice cream/everything at night w friends. When I returned to uni my friends freaked out and said i looked too skinny and tried to fatten me up, but that's how i've always looked. Somehow I'm I've stayed the same weight, despite drinking fizzy drinks everyday and take out everyother few days. So maybe you should stock up on fruit instead of cookies, fruit tastes better anyway alhamdulilah

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
oh not to mention, after my exam was over, i walked outside only to find it pouring out, like literally...a storm. i waited in the building for over an hour and my dad kept calling wanting me to come home with a freind and leave my car at school and wed go back and pick it up tmrw (yes hes so overprotective!) because the weather was so bad and it was literally blind rain outside, but i felt kinda weird leaving my beautiful new car in the parking lot alone...but it was sooo bad out that by the time i ran halfway to the shuttle stop i was DRENCHED from head to toe with rain, it was DARK outside, the wind was crazy, the rain was crazy, i felt like i was in one of those movies where youre scared cause ur all alone battling with nature! so by the time i got on the shuttle, i had changed my mind about going with a freind and called her up....by the time she got to HER car, the rain had already gone down a bit to a more drivable speed and the thing was i kept having this feeilng that leavin my car at school was not such a good idea cuz somethign might happen...so i just drove my car home and prayed that along the way it woudlnt get super bad (houston is very unpredictable! and also, when it rains, houstons drivers go crazier than usual and become more handicapped than usual!...accidents happen like CRAZY one after another!)....alhumdullilah i got home safe and i log online right now and see an email from the UH police dept and guess what? there were 4 vehicles stolen off of campus today!!!! alhumdulilah i am so happy i decided against leaving mine there!
