Re: Female Personal Hygiene
woohoo, they came out quick alhamdulillah
I'm really worried about my husband cuz he's on an oil rig in India, he said he asks them to wash the plates in front of him because there's always dirt on them and the food is gross. He started feeling sick tonight when he got off work (morning time there) and he said he thought he had a fever. I talked to him a few hours ago but the thought just struck me now that over there a serious illness is a possibility. When we lived in pakistan my mom got typhoid from contaminated food, inshallah inshallah inshallah he's okay

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
The "ARE YOU GOING TO BURN IN HELL?" ad on the left is unsettling I've seen it a few times in different threads.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I'm posting in here too much and I just need to go to sleep. I'm feeling like the biggest complainer right now but I'll say it anyway because nobody else is up to vent at except fph. Besides when I'm sleep deprived I turn into a maniacal short-tempered beast.
It's 1:36 and I WAS lying in bed until my roommate's loud voice carried through the wall, followed by her shriek-y laugh. I knocked on the wall the other day while I was trying to study and it seemed to shut her up for a coupla days. Now it seems to have worn off and I cant get earplugs til this weekeeeeeeeennnndd
END RANT.

if i avoid being around guys unless i have to talk to them at school or ask them for help on an assignment, he better avoid it, too. school/work requires you to talk to the opposite gender...but alhamdulilah i explain to guys how i keep my distance for religious purposes and i dont highfive and shake hands with them. so i expect my guy (iA) to do the same
..do u have an ipod or cd player? if im trying to sleep and someone in the house is talking too loud, i just put on naats or nasheeds in my ipod and turn it off just as im falling asleep. works for me

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Duas for everyone
I am not at all comfortable w/my hubby calling/texting/chatting up w/a female friend of his. He mainly has all guy friends, but they're married..so when one of his friend's wife got a lil too close to him..i told him that's not cool..and alhum he took care of it. now we live happily ever after. lol.
p.s. my chatting i meant IMing on AIM or something..i dont have a problem w/him talking to them if it stays within limits. na mean??

he's got female facebook friends (hi bff), and he talks with his female cousins or my friends if they're around. there are no phone calls or anything of that sort involved.
at least not that i'm aware of...
we have a lot of mutual friends, in fact he's known some of my friends longer than i've known them.
but, i'm cool with it. you gotta be chill with it. i mean, he has female colleagues at work, with whom i'm sure he jokes around and talks with.
i'm not gonna be like "don't go to work. it's haram."
and the same applies to me. i have male friends on facebook, but i certainly don't call them on the phone and chat for a couple of hours if afeef is running late from soccer practice.
it's just a matter of practicing common sense.
in the end, all i have to say is: i like boys.
