Farah: Mine was customized. I wasn't having pain, just clicking... but it was really annoying and I went straight to the dentist. I'm a wussy like that.

But also, a lot of it was covered by my student health plan, so yeah... not too expensive and worth it 'cause my jaw doesn't click anymore. Alhamdulillah.

I have an interview tomorrow too.
I realized today I'm broke and went to pick up my student loan but they said they'd re-assessed it and that they're not giving me anything and actually, I owe them money. So I was like "Oh, crap, I'm broke" and applied for a job and got the call a couple hours later. It's not a career or anything, just a part-time job 'cause I need money and also 'cause I have some time on my hands too... so yeah, du'as for me too.

I take One-A-Day Women's in tablet form (not the capsules). The pharmacist at Walmart told my mom to choose these over the capsules cuz the other ones have Gingko Biloba that speeds up heart rate.

I've been taking it for about a week and a half now and take it daily most of the time. My doctor told me it's a good idea to take it since I don't get to eat a lot of meat, fruits or veggies when I'm away at school.

assalamu alaykum

May Allah swt grant us all patience and success in this world and the next, ameen

This is the worst case of cramps I've had, ever , and it seriously is NOT helping that saudi sell ONE type of monthly things. The frick man, i can't believe people still use these in the 21st century, they're not remotely efficient.

Life in saudi is seriously quiet, noise wise. I think I'm very used to hearing kids shouting/arguing/playing in the house, esp with the absence of tv (considering reviewing the no-tv agreement). There's no music in the malls, in the shops, in the streets. It's like everyone is having fun in quiet...in case the zombies come out. It's Freaky, I'm so not staying here for another year insha Allah, i'll go crazy if all i hear are the thoughts in my head.

question for the engaged or married ladies..does your spouse (to be) have female friends? how cool are you with it? what are the limits of communication? how often, the medium of communication etc?

and for those who are single, what would you be cool with? a little bit or none at all or what?

My fiance works with females at his job and he jokes with them but he always maintains Islamic etiquette. He doesn't have female "friends" in the sens that he hangs out with them and stuff. And if he did, I would not be cool with it. Our views on gender interaction are pretty much the same so we have no problems there alhamdulillah.

yes, he has female friends. i'm cool with it for the most part because i'm friends with the same crowd. emails/chatting/facebook are okay. phone, not as often, only if its important. generally though communication is limited and they're not all buddy buddy or anything.

female friends? ha! a man and a woman can never stay friends, one or both of them will start having feelings for each other sooner or later. so no female companionship for him and no male for me (not that I have any even now).
this wouldn't even be an issue if the guy you married had deen. that should be the most important thing to look for in a guy.
