So why do people leave their convertibles in public parking lots without the cover? You can easily steal the sound system or any other items lying around!

So far I've seen a corvette and a bmw parked in broad daylight in my college parking lot....idiots!

most, if not all of them have an alarm system.

but yeah, its still kinda dumb.

I went to Arabic study group today and hadn't eaten breakfast or lunch yet so I got this sandwich from a cafe called Espresso Royale. Ohhh my god, 3-cheese (swiss, american, provolone), avocados with tomatoes, mayo and onions on whole grain bread

.

Oh and Jimmy John's has THE BEST veggie subs (minus the sprouts) mashallah

Forget car alarms, what if it rained or somebody spilled something.....the person doesn't know because they're inside

I always thought these would be nasty, as "healthy" junk food tends to be. but they're amazing. I make them with vanilla soy yogurt and an egg white, sprinkle some chocolate chips on top and

even my sister who might as well be allergic to the words "nonfat" and "soy" gobbled them up.

I just ate whatever was left of the potato cutlets I made this week. Slapped it on a plain bagel with ketchup...yumm. But I'm still hungry. Gotta watch the spending, so even though I'm craving takeout pizza, I must make do with what I have. And so I'm off to the kitchen to make some tuna salad... (if I put a lot of chopped onions, apples and mayo, I cant even taste the fishyness anymore!

I did but it was during school so I used that as an excuse. Use that, or just check the no box where it asks if you understand english well.

I think saying you dont believe in the justice system or saying you have class (when you really do) are better excuses. If you get caught lying to get out of it, you are in BIG trouble with the law

and alhamdulillah i have not yet been called for it

I don't think that would work. I had jury duty last summer and from my understanding of the whole process I'd say it works a little differently. If you don't fit the profile that the lawyers are looking for then they dismiss you from that certain case, but you still have to bear through the process until all of the cases [during that time period] have chosen jurors.

Once you serve you will be free for 6 years

. And it's not that unbearable. Then again I'm a nerd and actually was looking forward to the whole experience.

Met some nice people there too

Man, that's scary! I looked that exact ingredient up just a few weeks ago and read all sorts of horrible things about how bad it is for everybody...and they put it in everything! It can have up to 90 different names/variations.
