flashingggggggggg news: today i saw sami yusuf's twin brothaa mA. my rents and I were standing outside of friend's parking lot. khuda-hafizing after visiting them. when a turkish mashaAllah brother walked into the parking lot, he thought it was our house, so he asked me to "could you call your dad please, i'd like to speak to him" and I did so bluntly.

then they talked for a while, when he was gone, i asked my dad what did the brother hottie say. my dad said, 'he offered to pay for the maintance of the broken fence, when his car spinned into the fence last week and caused damaged to the property. al though, there was noone at home that night, so he had to leave. now he's back to offer his help.

i was like " well if it was my house, i'd totally forgive u know" *snaps out of surreality*

alas, the real owner took over the conversation.

i need some motivation to lose some weight REAL BAD. i know fatt-ness makes me super-ugly... and i can't stop my cravings either. i lowe sweet stuff, i know the down side of being fat: cvd, diabetes etc..
i also know deep down, the best way to tackle over-weightness is eating in proportion, balanced diet, excercise in moderation, no food after 6 pm, low fattening foods,dance if cant excercise, walk 30 minutes/day and all that shipeal...but its soooooo hard to implement wat i know. :fatty: my entire life, ive been going on 'yo yo diets' then with restrict excercise regime and after a while im either bored or lose motivation. as a result, everything falls apart. i feel like a failure right now.

stay consistent. and start slow. i completely changed my eating habits, alhumdulillah, not by cutting anything out, but by putting more stuff in! instead of focusing on all the stuff i couldn't eat, i made myself eat like 2 servings of fruit and 2 servings of veggies everyday (i raaaaarely ate any before ). then kept increasing. i switched from white bread/rice to wheat. in general, i just focused on making healthier choices over bad ones. oh! and drinking toooons of water. foods to eat: Power 12 Foods: Never Go Hungry - Men's Health

sad part? i didn't lose any weight. in fact, i might've gained some just gotta get on this exercise thing

on a somewhat related note, going to see the doc tomorrow, iA. pray they figure out what's wrong with me (and that it's not a big problem, inshaAllah). jazakAllah khair, ladies

thanks farah. i eat whole wheat and bite on veggies and fruits like rabbit. but i also eat a lot of carbs/proteins...more than what the food guide recommends. my stupid appetitie to make things super worse for moi-ive super snarily slow metabolism (genetics plus my unwanted sedentary lifestyle). anyhoo, ive gave up hope long ago.

note to myself, no use cryng over spilled milk . i'll can never look pretty as i did when i was young.

whateverrrr! don't worry about weight; worry about health. i swear, it makes a world of difference.

oatmeal is great for curbing your appetite. as are nuts. so are beans, but they're embarrassing
