I can't fold shalwar kameezes, I can fold the shirt but not the pants. T-shirts and pants are pretty simple.

And for the single ones, what would you ask?

i didnt really care for big numbers supposedly appraising my "worth" so i asked my dad to ask for mahr al-fatimi (roughly $340ish USD) and that was that. you end up getting so, so many gifts from your husband and his family when you get married anyway good luck!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
Dua's please!?! I think my dads actually going to let me go to Oman for ramadhan.
And for all you hotjabis(hijabis), where's a good place to work?! Maybe it's just where I'm at, but all the times I went for an interview in hijab I never even got a call saying no thank you. And I need to work so my plans of being a hijabi aren't working the way I want to. What to do?!

You're supposed to fold the pants? If I'm going to wear them, they go on hangars anyway.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I don't iron clothes, I don't fold them and I don't even hang them. I just pile them up in my wardrobe. As for drawers, I didn't realise you were supposed to keep clothes in them. I keep my things in them.

Actually, my simple cotton outfits I fold, the fancier ones I hang so the design and stuff doesn't mess up. As far as my scarves, I get them out of the dryer so they don't wrinkle but some of the do anyway and I walk out of the house with them with my mom lamenting behind me.
"Who goes to school with a wrinkled scarf?"
"How old are you again?"
"When are you going to get some sense?"
"Are you getting older or getting younger?"
"Your sister is going to learn from you."

Hahahahaha!!!! I hope she never sees the scarf I'm wearing right now. It's a pretty thin silk scarf that was a gift of a friend of a friend of a friend originally from indonesia somehow. Anyway, it wrinkles if you look at it, but it's soooo nice for summer. Plus it's kinda purple. Yay purple!

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
I throw my clothes in the dryer in the mornings to get rid of some wrinkles. I usually wear it regardess, but sometimes, there are too many wrinkles, even for me. As for my scarves, I usually wear georgette, which is kinda hard to wrinkle. (the ones that are wrinkled I dont wear)

I wore a purple one (wrap around) one last week and when I came home , I was like I'm never wearing this again. The wrap around ones are such a pain in the ass to fix and u know I wear those hijab caps underneath to keep them from slipping, that doesnt work for me cuz I wear glasses so the pressure builds up behind my ears and I get a terrible headache before the day is over.

Mom : Why can't you iron your scarves like zara? I think we should trade moms.

Yeah, because it's too hot to wear the al-amira underscarves, and if you get non-slipery shayla's, they are hella ugly. I feel your pain. Square scarves all the way for me.
Holy crap! The ladies washroom in the basement of this building is SUPER NICE! They have a sitting room outside it too! I bet I could say my prayers there and nobody would give me a hard time at all.

That's great. I hate it when I don't drink anything in the mornings but by the afternoon, I still have to go pee And i despise using the stupid public restrooms ugh.
