So the 2 family weddings that were supposed to happen in june-july have moved up to may along with another wedding.....that means I've 3 weddings to look forward to in may with finals going on!!

Speaking from experience...
my MIL wanted me to be all decked out for every dawat/dinner/lunch party we were invited to. My hubby doesn't like too much make-up and stuff..so he'd help me out by talking to his mum. I only like decking out when i feel like it, not when others want me to. I had to wear tika and sometimes jhumar on my head.. arrgg..I've always been a simple classic girl..so i felt very uncomfortable..I guess MILs like to show off their D-I-Ls ..it gets annoying.. real fast. Soo.. all the new brides, be prepared to be decked out the first year of your marriage. If you're MIL is cool.. then you'll be alrite.

And if you're the youngest DIL...the older DIL will get away with not wearing heavy clothes and then you'll be stuck with heavy outfits.

In other news: i had a grrreatt weekend, everyone loved my mini cheesecakes and some people had seconds.
but i'm freakin tired.. i partied way too much.

Hopefully that will induce him to put together the new flat-pack bookcase tonight

not that i am one, but if ever i am one, that's one piece of desi culture i plan on chucking out the window.
