I suppose the least I could do is wear a fire engine red lipstick.

Remember that aunty at the wedding who said that your hijab was ruining the look of your (and her) outfit? LOL.

She was kind of like your saas too. Telling you that hijab ruins the whole "show". Hahahahha. She wanted you to show off your jewelry too. Hahahahaha.

i look like a clown (literally) if i wear any lip color that isnt very sheer and nude/light pink toned. i usually dont wear anything on my lips and if i do, its just some gloss.
as for foundation...i love mac studio fix powder.
eyes...i am in love with maybelline lash stylist and line stylist. ive tried pretty much every eyeliner/mascara out there, and these are by far my favorite, and so inexpensive too! i used to wear eyeshadow when i was younger, i was really good at blending colors and all that, but the past few years ive been wearing less and less makeup alh. i feel like less is more and (especially while wearing hijab cuz it frames your face and makes everything look more dramatic) i look kinda drag queen-ish if i wear too much stuff. plus im lazy and cant be bothered to take more than 5-10 min total putting on makeup in the morning. haha
and best makeup tip ever...EVER. PRIMER. it gives your skin such a nice texture and base to put makeup over...you use less than you normally would and your skin doesnt get oily after a few hours so you dont have to touch anything up. the one i got and am in absolute love with is from smashbox, its called photo finish light. its like $40 from sephora..but the best investment ever! i love it.

Re: Female Personal Hygiene
girls: do u guys prefer bronzer or blush?
personally, when i used to wear bronzer it'd totally -un-coverage-ify my face despite of the fact, i'd be wearing foundation. now that ive switched from bronzer to blush, blush gives my skin that healthy natural glow.
i lowe peachyrose blush by mac.
for special occasions bronzer+ blush= super hotness, imam's wife approved.

bronzers do nothing for me but make my face look dirty ive tried so many and they all look terrible on me, i think its my skin tone or something.
but i like blush, i feel like its something that people dont notice youre wearing, but it pulls it all together and makes you look nice.

I have a MAC Bronzer and every time I use it, which is rare, I break out. I have only used it 3 times. I wish I could return it. It was the dumbest purchase ever.

Benefit's Benetint is really nice. I don't wear blush, but my friend uses it, and it looks really, really nice.
Benefit also makes a really good bronzer. My classmate recommended it. Its called Hoola. I haven't tired it because I didn't have much luck with MAC's bronzer. Just like Fatima, the bronzer made my face look dirty and unwashed.

concurr but the only plus point for bronzer is: it makes your cheek bones look prominent and gives you that model look. bronzer makes you look hawt. whereas with a blush you can come out looking cute and cheeky,(if you're fair skin). on the other hand, my dark skin friend looks super hawt with blush. mAx 3 thats from my observation.
i'd recommend bronzer to anyone with a flawless skin ANYDAY.
ive used medium bronzer by mac. its super awesome, but the only draw back how it reverses the coverage effects as i mentioned earlier.
